Such a great video man! Especially for me that I am in my commercial training! This videos you make take out some of the uncertainty going into new licenses. Its amazing seeing your hard work and dedication, and thinking how you have time to make these videos and content🤯 Keep it up, I see you soon being an airline pilot!

Commenting for the algorithm, I wanna see your channel keep growing. Great job dude! You and I are both in Utah, and obtaining our certs at basically the same time. Got my instrument two weeks after you. Got my commercial a month after you. Have my cfi in December now. Awesome to see you have a sponsor too! Keep it up, I hope to see more!

@ Absolutely, it’s well deserved! I’m down in Southern Utah at 1L8 at a 61 Are you joining any regional pathway programs? Iv been doing a ton of research on different options. Maybe that could be a topic of a future video or something

You're going like a rocket, Luke! I'm sure you'll nail this checkride as well. It is rewarding for sure also as in life skills. I know this rating is hard from a friend I flew with just for fun, when he was doing the CFI course. Your next and perhaps even bigger challenge will be your first real student! I can hardly keep up with your pass, but it's just great to see you grow in every way. I'm just taking my time and recently enjoyed my first solo. What a blast! I will never get where you are now, but love to keep on following your journey! If I were your mom, I would be soo extremely proud of you!!! Good luck on your upcoming check!!!

Hey Luke! What Yoke mount are you using? I think you used to mount it on the windshield. Do you prefer the yoke?
@thatpilotlukeАй бұрын
Hey! It was actually one that was left in the plane so I'm not sure. I used that and sometimes use a window mount. I don't really prefer one over the other! Just depends on the plane too but they're both nice!

Keep up the good work. Do you think you'll chronicle any of your post-CFI activities? Take a few days to decompress after the check ride.

Preciate it! And yes I hope to!

Hey Luke, just did my first intro flight over the weekend. Absolutely loved it, buttttt I ended up getting nausea and threw up.. Do you eventually get over being motion sickness during training??? it was only when we did the 45 degree bank turns and kill the engine and nose decent is what got me. Also definitely ganna hitbu up for a one on one on chooseing a flight school before i commit to one

Hey man! Don't worry about it too much! I got motion sick on my first two training flights. However if you get seriously motion sick frequently it might not be the best idea, but there are totally pilots who get motion sick after maneuvers and turbulent air but still love flying
@thatpilotluke2 ай бұрын
I wouldn't stress about it too much!

Utah huh, if you are at the Ogden training center you might have a dpe i know. If you checkride is with Claussen then youre going to be just fine 👍

Of all the rating and licenses you have completed which one was the most difficult and which one took you the longest?
@thatpilotluke2 ай бұрын
Definitely CFI took the most preparation but Private was longest just because you're new to everything!
@larreamma15192 ай бұрын
@ thank you I’m currently in flight school doing my ppl. I’m in the career program so basically my journey is going to be exactly like yours and since you’re further along I thought that would be a good question to ask. Thank you for the info.

Great Video! How many flight Hours will you typically have once Graduated from The ATP Program? I heard that students will typically have the minimum required Flight hours (1,500) after Graduation without working as a CFI to build hours. Now is that true? Thanks in advance!
@thatpilotluke2 ай бұрын
You'll have around 250 once you finish the program and if you choose to and are hired to instruct at ATP it's not necessarily a program or graduation thing. You can instruct with them until 1500 or leave if you want
@Colingallagher185328 күн бұрын
Can you go to ATP and go to school at the same time because you said 7 hours a week and you can’t do that and go to school so can you go to school and go to ATP?
@thatpilotluke16 күн бұрын
If you're asking whether you can do college and ATP, I'd say probably not just because of how intense the program is.
