they call it crossplane, the engines exhaust note sounds sexier sort of like a 90 degree v twin does. take 90 degrees off of 360 parallel twin and you have 270 degree twin.

@@lorenfritzjr.8384 hol on, I don't think thr 270 degree twin is a crossplane lmao I'm dumb, there's only two crank pins that make an L shape. This sound is sexy but I don't think it can replace v twins sound I think they sound a little better.

@@rns6889 Yamaha thinks differently with their 4 and 3 cylinder bikes have the cross plane name, the R1 motor sounds like a v4 the CP3 motors sounds friggin awesome.
