After using the motorcycle for almost 9 months now, a system failure has occured. The unit is seldomly used for registration is still not available yet at this time.

Wow, thank you for posting this informative video. I have a strong interest in electric bikes/scooters/motorcycles. I’m sorry that you are dealing with slow service and battery replacement. CFMoto is new to the states and still haven’t released this electric scooter. It looks like a lot of fun! Keep us posted with the results and if you would still recommend it to friends. Thank you very much for your comment Sir. Understandably I can relate to delays in the service especially on the replacement battery since they are coming from China. Unfortunately, they were having difficulty in sending the batteries due to logistics issues and other strick compliance of battery shipment. The dealer has already informed me that this will hopefully arrived in a week time from Manila to Cebu, "HOPEFULLY".

Honestly this is one of the major problems with new tech and new manufacturers and part of the reason I always buy Honda/Suzuki/Yamaha motors. Not so much the service but the history of reliability. This company is very unwise to make you wait longer than 2 months to get your battery replacement because people will see this (Like me who lives in batangas)and although I was interested when I see stuff like this I feel like with no service center in my area and they can't even seem to mail you parts needed that it might be to much of a headache to buy something like this. maybe better wait till reliable manufacturers make them or they improve there network. If I'm paying 240k for basically a faster Honda click (At a 140k premium) I definitely don't want to screw around with breakdowns. At least you can still drive it but annoying to have something you spent money on like this can't be fixed quickly.

Did the battery arrive already? I too have an AE8 S+. Dapat 2 years warranty on battery. That is what Motostrada the dealer in Manila is giving for the warranty. Hope your AE8 is all good by now.

i have also a ae8 already 2700km on odo, not yet a problem with the battery. pls inform me what came out with the battery failure. i had a problem with the front brake brembo brakepads falling slowly in parts, changed them to other brand and had no more problems, but motostrada was helpfull even wanted to change on warranty both brakepads and rotor because very scratched. but new brake pads now working very well bo more problems, ordered through lazada. had also once total frontbrake failure, changed new brakefluid and no more problems

Hi Sir as per dealer 1 year warranty Sir. If one is damage or defective, they will replace both batteries.

Hi Sir, good day. It's been a month and the replacement batteries will be arriving hopefully by the last week of October. That's what the dealership feedback as of yesterday. No idea really on the the cause because they have yet to investigate the defective battery pack.

Hi Sir, nope reported it immediately to the dealership for warranty replacement. It might be internal issue with the battery bank.

@@dragosduca3148 Yes Sir we'll do. Already talked to the delaership handling the situation and they said to send the 2 brand new batteries, hoping that they will come sooner, as of now I'm using 1 battery bank at 50% capacity and works just fine....
