Alice’s smirk at 24:36!! She is really quite a talent. And always fun to watch. Her losses are as interesting as her wins most times. I’ve gone through most of her videos here and I’ve yet to see a game where she was outright dominated by her opponent. I’m not saying there aren’t any such occasions - just that I haven’t come across them so far. I’d appreciate anyone sending me an instance of her being truly outplayed.

Also if the light was on the wall, someone clearly as logical as you claim to be, would notice that the shadows indicate they are NOT coming from the wall, especially with ambient light producing secondary lighter shadows pointing TOWARD the wall. I would try applying an antireflective film to the clock faces. That would be fast, inexpensive and likely effective.

The kid is playing above her rating and the guy did make a bad move and got upset losing to a significantly lower ranked player. Happens in professional chess too even at the highest levels. If you make such a statement, unless you want to rewrite the rules of chess, you should be prepared to prove that he did this with the express purpose of distracting the opponent.
