Today I want to share my thoughts on the Curly Girl Method Approved Leave-In Conditioners that are made in India.
CG products are expensive in our country and I always get requests for recommendations on which one to use? In this video I have tried to share my thoughts on how you can go about choosing a leave in conditioner based on your hair's needs.

Love this video! The level system you've created for leave-in conditioners is such a great idea. I'm surprised that the Earth Rhythm hair butters are a level 5. I have 2b/2c low-medium porosity hair(from what I can tell). I've been using ER Nourishing hair butter(not the ones you mentioned) as a leave-in and its working pretty well for me. I use a couple of pea sized amounts for my shoulder length hair. However, I don't use a gel and I'm not looking for hold atm. So, maybe that's why I don't mind the product.

Hi Michelle! I tried the CG routine on my 2a wavy hair for the first time and noticed some improvement just after the first try. Lesser frizz and more definition. I just wanted to thank you because out of all my research, your videos helped me the most in finding the right products for myself! Thank you for such great content💕 Just had one question: I'm using clarifying shampoo(every few weeks), shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner as a part of my routine. For pre-poo I used argan oil. I wanted to keep it minimal so just started off with the basics. Are there any other products which you would say are essential to the routine? Like serums etc? I have low porosity 2a hair.

The product is good but yeah, the people who has the issue migraine then better to away from it. Even I haven't had any migraine but it got triggered becauseof its fragrance.., oh God, it's too much. love your videos they always give me options to look for I have high porosity 2a/2b waves. My issue is I do need some good amount of moisture but heavy products tend to weigh my hair down. So I'm basically stuck between moisture and hold. Do you recommend any light weight leave-in but also moisturizing?

The ones towards the beginning and lighter and the ones listed towards the end are heavier. If you are already using a leave in, tally the score I've given the product and then choose something lighter based on your discretion

Found a really helpful video after ages of searching! Instantly subscribed to the channel. Can you suggest a strong CG friendly shampoo as I love my heavy oil champi, but i cant get rid of my oil with those mild shampoos. I really love to have champi once a week and can't imagine to skip it, so is there any strong cg friendly shampoo which can solve this problem. I can't think of a shampoo that would remove oil to my satisfaction. If you're ok with a clarifying shampoo then go for it. In my opinion, it defeats the purpose.

Hi love your videos. My major concern is that my hair isn’t growing from the last 1 year. They are the same length. I use shampoo and conditioner that’s all once a week. Is leave in a necessity? What would I do get hair growth?

I would request you to first deep condition and also to seal your ends with an oil. See the more your hair dries out the more it will tangle, split and break. So using a light oil is key here. Also for hair growth, i would suggest dry scalp massaging. I have a video on it as well

Great question. No need to style if you're not stepping out. I would suggest using a tiny bit of leave in and braiding your hair up when you're at home. Why not use the spare time to curl train further.

Okay since hair is great in India, that's just how it is, I am very curious about the standards for the products there. I know that superior indian genetics play a huge role in why its awesome 😎 but when I was in the middle east, the products from India were just on a whole other level.

Hey Michelle Plzz make a video on affordable cg friendly serums which control frizz. It doesn't matter how much amount of conditioner or hair mask I use there is huge amount of frizz and my hair look devoid of moisture and no shine 😭😭 Plzz share some tips on how to reduce frizz and how to make them look glossy🙏🙏

I have low porosity 2a2b i used a deep conditioning and gel (fmc flex seed) on my wash day..the next day...in sun and humidity my hair became super frizzy..

The best way to beat humidity is to layer gels together. Or do a mousse and then end with gel

First figure out if it's hair fall or hair loss. I have videos on both topics. Once you're able to tackle this issue then focus on frizz. Frizz a long game anyway.

Hey can u tell me which leave in works the best for ur hair type.. I hv 2b-2c high porosity hair.. Just like u and I hv a huge issue with fragrance every review I watch of the curl up and the fmc both r heavily fragranced and as high porosity I need tht extra moisture in my leave in as well. So I need a higher lvl leave in tht won't trigger my migraine..So please tell me which one suits u the most

I get it. Try the level 5 product and use less of it. Or try a lighter product and layer as suggested in the video. It's your best bet sadly

Great review…you are the reason I started CGM 😃 any reason you don’t review BBLunt Curly Hair products? I started with their Shampoo, conditioner- seems nice. I had used their Leave in conditioner separately- pre CGM era…it doesn’t work in isolation.
