I’m mainly a CB viewer and love their RP. At times I do watch double R. All I have to say is I love how CG is so ballsy and usually well coordinated. I don’t get the toxicity from two of the biggest groups towards each other since CB took a different direction than their 2.0 ways. Both CG and CB have great and interesting RP that are very different! Love it

What most don’t realize is that there was already a lot of toxicity back in 2.0 when they would beef. Towards the end of 2.0 everyone basically left LB and they changed to CB and in 3.0 Buddha was cool with CG. They hit the first bobcat together and did the time lord mission together but when both groups combined have near 100k viewers (over when Sykkuno was on Yuno) there tends to be toxic chat hoppers from both sides when things don’t go their fav streamers way. Sucks.

being outnumbered is good, the rule of four adds challenge which requires criminals to think ahead and plan out their heists. The cops are supposed to be very difficult to beat, especially if you want to take them out using brute force and not just by using an escape method. This is what makes them a threat and adds risk to the situation, otherwise everyone would just shoot up the cops and waltz out. CG put up a good fight, they're clearly skilled but their plan was a little lackluster which made them lose the war of attrition against an entire force. They've won plenty in the past by bruting it in a similar fashion, no big deal you gotta win some and lose some in RP.

I wouldn't say the police are OP, their role just has the natural advantage in scenarios like this. They're always equipped and ready for a shootout, crims typically are not, so they have to utilize the element of surprise (like Mr. K did) if they want the upper hand.

There’s a double standard towards cops, not just in game but ooc also, because cops don’t get punished the same way civs or crims do for the exact same broken rules if not worse at times. Recently, you have to do next to nothing to be potentially banned as a crim whilst cops basically have free reigns and get minimal punishment if they do. Maybe that’s because of the numbers of cops in the city, but when you see instances like this, or 6 cops chasing you for a traffic stop, can you really complain about numbers.

However, it is true robbing a bank without a hostage might not seem realistic, robbing a bank with a hostage is actually way less common in the real world. But the way to rob banks is limited in this server to allow for more rp. CG did wrong here but they did it for fun, to mess around and see what mischief they could cause. The cops did wrong just to end the scenario. I’m not gonna say they wanted the W, but i will say they did not want to continue a standoff that they were losing.

They cordon off the area not roll up like it's a chook raffle with $2 beers and fries. They only move in when they have support, the reason for this is the lessons learned over decades which resulted in many dead hostages, robbers and cops. Had they responded like cops should respond none would have been taken hostage in the first place. But high command wants the cringe "negotiations" rather then intelligent responses from the PD.

The way it works on nopixel is that you can't expect to be given a free passage if you take a cop hostage, so nobody does it for bank robberies. And God forbid cops don't tryhard every situation and think this is real life.

There's no hating the PD for this, once they took cops hostage all bets were off. High commands instance on pushing cops up to the doors for the bullshit negotiations caused it all. But the PD was doing what they are supposed to.

If they had more than 4 and if k didn’t go down fairly early, they would have steam rolled the cops. What is the challenge in that? Honestly this, and it seems people forget that there's more then one group of crims active on the server at a given time so it's a balance especially for up to 40 cops on a server with 200+ players

@@billyhorner427 That's exactly it. The point of hiring a whole bunch of new cadets isn't so that they can have 30-40 cops all swarming one group of 4 (unless there's an extended shootout). It's so that they have enough cops to spread out across the whole city doing many different types of police work. Obviously it's gonna take a bit of time for them to figure out a way to keep numbers down in certain situations. Most cops are still accustomed to having a small roster and needing to jump onto every single 77s request, but they'll figure things out eventually. Maybe with a slight change to the way dispatchers operate.
