It really shows that she is still a child, but just sharing a body with a demon, or is possessed by a type of demon, but it doesn't leave her, so the voice of Amanda is the voice the demon uses to hide the fact its actually a Demon! What i think atleast.

Man, this has gotta be one of my new favorites. The layering in the chorus for both Amanda and Wooly's parts was amazing, and hearing that every space was filled was just- perfect. From the really slow, almost hypnotic singing from Amanda to Wooly's little panicked, choppy (in a good way) dialogue, you basically captured everything in the song. Also the vocals?? Those were on a whooole nother level. Amazing work, man, keep it up.

i love amanda’s part of the chorus!! it reminds me of a siren in a way because she’s slowly luring you deeper and deeper into the game aka her trap but she’s also lonely which makes her not want to harm you in a way. yes, she’s a monster but she’s still a kid at heart plus throughout the game you can just see she’s lonely and wants friends. it makes me think that maybe the kids she took were brought into the game because she doesn’t want to be alone. i feel like wooly’s part of the chorus is also lovely because he’s constantly trying to warn us about amanda but he’s also telling her story throughout the song which i find interesting. this makes me think that wooly either is more involved then we think or that he’s a trapped soul too but trapped directly by amanda. i love the way this song explains the whole story so fluidly. i’ve been thinking about it nonstop lately.

I love how well you use the lore of the games into your lyrics. It adds so much emotion to the lyrics itself. I'm absolutely in love with Amanda's lyrics because it shows the sympathy to her character while the rest of the song conveys her as a danger while she's just pleading for help. Also the use of the "Won't you help the lonely kitten?" As well as the scene on the couch. The song beautifully conveys the story Amanda The Adventurer in less then 5 minutes. God, i have no words of how amazing this is. From woolie's fast paced singing of worry and fear To Amanda's kind sounding yet eerie and climactic singing And the end just felt like wooly was trying to get out every last word to the player knowing of his soon to come demise. The final "out there somewhere" at the end sort of felt like amanda snapping back and crying for help. Especially how her voice is softer than other parts of the song during the final line. Just A Masterpiece👌

Literally a masterpiece. I am stuck listening to it over and over as it displays such a perfect representation of not only the story. But wooly's efforts to help us as Amanda is still trying to kill us. The chorus only makes it better as she typically is also referring to herself when she asks to help the lonely kitten, while also saying how she's out there somewhere and that she may be gone but not lost. But she is typically insane so wooly just trying to plead speaking quickly is just perfect. The chorus completely encapsulates the idea of the entire game plot. I'm in love with the song

I LOVE that CG5 here knows Hameln (the name of the company) is also another name of the folktale Pied Piper. In said folktale, Hameln would lure unsuspecting women with his melody, getting them into a trance, and then capturing them. Usually one thought he lured mice, but not originally. CG5 what impresses me the most about you is your diversity in genre and understanding of rhythm. The whole video gave me goosebumps. But what really got me was the overlay of Amanda and Wooly. It mirrors the game perfectly. You can choose who you want to help but its like Amanda has the stronger pull since shes sing the longer notes (that swaying-to-the-tempo feeling). She drowns out Wooly who doesnt have much time or control. Perfect.

The parts where Wooly and Amanda sing together really speaks to how in the game they keep trying to get you to believe them. Wooly wants you to trust him and run away from the show, while Amanda is trying to get you to be her friend because she's alone.

She was a child who’s parent was taken from her, and told that he abandoned her. The company manipulated a child by breaking her down and making her believe that they were the only ones who cared about her, hence why in the game, she flips out when you deny helping the kitten. The kitten is just an metaphor for her.

The connection between the myth of the pied piper and the game the devs did is awesome. My favorite story / myth ( it a story based on true events tho) is the pied piper. Basically hamelin town was infested with rats, the mayor of hamelin claimed he would give gold to the person who would get rid of the rats. And so, the pied piper lured the rats away to drown in a river, But when the pied piper was about to claim his gold. The mayor refused to pay him. The pied piper had no choice, he lured the children away and they where never seen again. And as for the connections, the company in amanda the adventure is called hamelin with a mouse logo. And Amanda basically ‘ lure ‘ children away from their home, just has the pied piper did. In a secret tape you can hear her saying ‘ bah lamb ‘ and other weird sounding names. Well these are all demons names. And i’m guessing this is what made Amanda like that, or maybe she herself got lured. Well if you read all that hope you learned something new today.

Somebody tell me HOW this man can make such good music in TWO days!? It really felt like this could be the ending credits song AND animation. It is absolutely brilliant and they were even able make wooly feel like he was really begging us to help him and save the kids and like he was scared. As for Amanda, you really made feel somewhat innocent despite her trying to hurt us. The duet part really shows a side of the show that is only lightly touched on in the game. Wooly is also suffering to help us and really wants us to save the children but Amanda's demon becomes to strong everytime. In the game, at first, Amanda seems so hurt and angry that she can't control herself, but by the end she has almost completely given in and now has the power to destroy Wooly and turn him into a real sheep. This is very well represented in your song as well. She is innocently asking us to help her through the TV but by the end, Wooly is barely there, stuck with no way to help us, while Amanda demon is about to off us. Honestly him and Kathy need a grade higher than S ASAP! This was the most well done Amanda the Adventurer song I've watched. This is going to be on repeat on both my playlist. (By in my head I mean low key haunt me because I scare much to easily!) (Why'd I have to be late to the premiere by 4 minutes though😭😒😅)

hi i’m back to gush about this section some more🥰 the music cutting out at ‘now you can’t destroy us’ while Hameln spells across the screen-the music getting more desperate with ‘Clock is turning turning’ and again with ‘is it just pretend’, building to the climax with ‘i won’t forget you ever new forever friend’ and Amanda snapping to face us!!!!! and then going back down to just the music box, the imagery of amanda facing away with the callback to ‘alone’?????????? I love how well this song represents the game, How Wooly is talking so quickly trying to get us away and Amanda is speaking slowly, relaxed like she know that shes gonna be triuphant in the end. Just had an epiphany while washing dishes, so y’all know how she says “I thought you were different Friends share secrets, right? We can share, can't we? I thought you were different” Okay so it might be a no brainer to some but this really open my eyes. So the fact she implied it as a secret that she was still out there somewhere, means that she’s normally being kept from revealing anything which aligns with the theories about Wooly being a measure of keeping her mouth shut by hurrying along things to shun her out which she tries to override. And when she says “I thought you were different”, it could reveal that the player is one of many who she’s tried to convey these things to only for them to fail and unfortunately share her fate being trapped within the tapes. Wooly is truly a wolf in sheep’s clothing, also another stretch would be that her body being somewhere would be connected to the demonic version of her which looks oddly similar to a skeleton in shape. So maybe the ritual trapped her soul in the tapes and allowed the demon access to her body which could be the nature of it being white and somewhat resembling a sheep. Okay I just wasted five minutes talking about a parody of Dora, this game earns my full respect

For the people who don’t know why it’s called “Pied Piper”: So, the company who bought Amanda the Adventurer was called Hameln. And, there’s a place in Germany with the same name as the company. They had a rat infestation and then the Pied Piper came. He went from catching mice (which is why there’s a mouse on the logo) to kidnapping children because he didn’t get paid enough. Which explains that letter from Joanne Cook (if that’s her name) with the kidnapped kid, Jordan. And the kidnapper was called the “Pied Piper”. And in this game, Amanda is kind of like the Pied Piper. So that is why it’s called “Pied Piper”.

Holy cow!!! This was worth the wait for sure! Thanks for this amazing song, CG5 and everyone else who worked on this project. The animation was fantastic along with the singing and pretty much everything overall! I love Amanda the Adventurer, one of my favorite games, and when I saw you were coming out with a song for it, I knew I had to listen to it immediately and boy, this was good! I LOOOOVE how the overlapping vocals with Wooly and Amanda sound, and how it's drowning out Wooly's lines. The song is really well put together and really goes well with the game.
