Mario is cool and all, but he has no weaknesses. Luigi on the other hand is a coward who is constantly terrified. But, when everything goes wrong and all hope is lost, Luigi still steps up and saves the day, even if the option to run away is present. That's a really amazing quality. He loves his brother, and everyone around him. Luigi's Mansion 3 really highlights this. As he still stepped up, even without Elvin Gadd's help. He found the professor, rescued him, and despite Gadd telling him they had to escape, he went "I ain't leaving until I find my family and friends." and still explored this haunted hotel full of ghosts that wanted him dead. Wow. Just wow. He is selfless and the the textbook definition of "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the will to fight that fear." as someone else said. “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. I played the first Luigi's Mansion on the gamecube and been playing Luigi's Mansion 3 for thr first time. And this song slaps!! How can one simply not love Luigi. I just love how scared he is of so many things yet stands his ground to save his beloved brother. Luigi deserves all the love!

Agreed, Luigi is my favorite Mario character, and he is also my favorite character out of any piece of fiction, too. The order you played the games is really interesting. The order I played the games is really odd, as well. I began the Luigi's Mansion series by playing 3 first, and I absolutely loved it. I then dug out my old Wii, and discovered the GameCube adapter that was built in with some of the earlier versions. Soon after, I bought the original Luigi's Mansion, and I enjoyed it, too. I could definitely see how it's considered a GameCube classic. I'm going to try out Dark Moon for the first time once it is released for the Switch this summer.

This song is just a beautifully crafted piece of music... The intro is chilling but with a certain vibe that is just impossible to ignore. The verse launches right in and the melody is just so powerful, the harmony is haunting, the downbeat is perfect, and not to mention the incredible vocals too! The chorus brings chills down mine spine. With it's dark and dramatic vibe and killer melody, it's at whole new level. The brief bridge provided a temporary escape and a buildup of tension before the final chorus. And boy, that last chorus did not disappoint! That haunting melody returned with vengeance with so much more power and emotion, which I didnt even think was possible. I felt like I was inside the music, feeling every beat, appreciating every chord, loving each line. CG5, you have a gift for writing music, and I truly believe that one day the world will know your name.
