This is so reassuring to see as my fear is that the signer will inadvertently cause minor issues resulting in a lower grade. In this case, the magic pen point of the Todfather healed your shoddy 9.8 candidate transforming it into the holy 9.9 that you now hold. Well done.

Wow 😳😮 congratulations on getting that 9.9! 🎉 The highest graded comic I have is a Batman 118 Bogdanovic Silver foil 1:100 in a CBCS 9.9. Ironically, it’s the homage pose to the ASM 1. I have no idea what it’s worth or how many are on the census. However, it’s for the PC, so I don’t plan on parting ways with it! Congrats again and all the best! 👍🏾😀

I’ve seen a few 9.9’s un-boxing,s here and there, but never where someone cleaned and pressed the book up to that grade, then to have the book handled and signed after and grade out to a 9.9, highly impressive. Congratulations!

Congrats. I've had many of my comics graded by CGC. Not as many as you but I've never gotten a 9.9 and highly doubt I ever will. Nice when one of the good guys gets that enjoyment.

I have both bit use the portable steamer way more. I'll use the humidity chamber on older items mostly or items I don't want to over saturate. I have yet to do a how to video but that's mostly due to figuring out how to actually film it.

Wow! Nice job on the 9.9 SS, there are only 15 in existance out of 24,000 cgc graded. Roughly 1/4 of the 9.8 are SS but only 1/16 of the 9.9 are SS. 9.9 unsigned sells about 10 times the price of a 9.8. Since a 9.9SS relative to a 9.9 is about 4 times more rare than a 9.8SS relative to a 9.8. maybe a 9.9SS should sell for 40 times the price of a 9.8. A 9.8 unsigned sells for $100 currently which would put a 9.9SS at $4,000 in my mind. When you own one of 15/24,000 you can ask whatever the hell you want and see what happens. Congrats! The census numbers i referenced may not be updated since the recent signing though so who knows, maybe there's tons of them now, haha.

I think I actually made an 'Ooooohhh' face at that 9.9. Nice! I sent two comics and a card. Still waiting on those, since I'm having them press the issues. I sent the same issue, but the first release, and the cover with Hobgoblin -- always loved his Hobgoblin. The card was kind of crap, since it was from about 1990, but it's the art from Venom's first appearance, and I don't see myself ever having an actual issue of that.

I get the excitement but I will never understand the obsession with manufactured happiness. Getting these in a 9.9 is like finding a $5 bill. Mcfarlane has signed more books than ANY artist EVER. He has been signing for 30 years, and recently, as much as 900000 in 1 month. Its so disappointing in seeing the "value guys" ruin the entire hobby. collector LEEKURBYDITKO literally cracks open 9.0 Action comics 15 etc. Nobody even loves the BOOKS anymore. BTW, Spawn #1 sold over 1 MILLION COPIES so who cares if its a 10.0?

I get it. For the longest time I couldn't understand encasing a comic as you would never be able to read it again. But with the market going the way it has and especially if you are looking to move your collection or pass it down, "adding value" to the book has become a big thing. Personally most of the books I get graded are books I love so no matter what I always have a connection with them.
