CGDI MB~How to change W211 ELV on bench

1 Follow CGDI MB software diagram to connection (W211 need gateway)
2 The OBD yellow line need to connect the ELV plug thinest wire
3 Read out the ELV data ,Get erase password.Then erase the ELV . Get your EIS data （with your password ）into ELV .Final use your key to activate your ELV .
4 W209 and W211,W906 ,It can sync ELV after ELV been erased .Others ELV need to get EIS data with password first ,Then write into ELV .
5 If you use your key to activate your ELV ,it can work ,Personalized marked ,activated not marked .You can use "activate ELV "function to make the Activated status marked

Why do you not make a video on this subject (ELV) but on the W169?????? There are 1 million cars that have this problem not only your new cars, the older cars are the ones that need this repair!

What you miss to say is this. What is ELV and what are you exactly doing. If anyone can help answer this please do.

Try to change to a elv (nec chip )in the video. ELV is steering lock.

Please make this video on a w169 in car??!!!! There is no thin cable for K-Line on the W169. They are all the same size cables

The thin cable is for ELV plug ,it has different size

When I try to get erase password, the CGDI says erase password not found. What happen? I try two ELV, booth the erase password not found..

Some W211 ELV are motorola chip ,CGDI MB can not support (Can not get the erase password ) .Only support NEC chip .

If is Motorola - read dump with any programmator and upload. After this just press "Get" and you obtain erase pass very easy.

@@mahantagarage I do not have such programmer. I use Xprog - for Motorola work like a charm.
