Roald is an anthropomorphic toad who perceives life in a cute, cartoonish and colorful way. Here comes his birthday! Roald intends to impress his guests he expects to be numerous, but sadly, nobody comes.
When suddenly, the doorbell rings and Roald is about to make an unexpected encounter with a paranoiac fly, whose point of view is drastically opposed to his.

Its probably the fly that is paranoid and thinks nearly everything that surrounds him is dangerous , as for the frog , he tries his best for his friends , and sees a bright future ahead of this

Interesting story concept! A great reminder that we see things differently from one another as individuals. I really liked the contrast between the two animation styles, and how the mood of each style reflected the perspectives of the respective character. A big thumbs up to the production team!

While one sees a great friend coming over for a birthday party the other sees a horrifying monster waiting for them to become the birthday meal. It honestly makes me wonder how the toad actually saw the fly keeping the door locked as, did they actually have to leave in their perspective or were they scared?

For the people who don’t understand, it’s not necessarily a matter of reality, rather perspective. A fly is the natural prey of just about anything, hence the dark, horrific view from the fly’s perspective. Any choice it makes could be deadly. The eyes staring back have to do with a fly’s vision. Roald however, is likely near the top of the food chain in their respective ecosystem. There’s little fear, except that of loneliness. As such, there is no understanding of a predator-prey relationship. Or any relationship for that matter. Roald is dissociated from society.

I like how the Fly had quite scary and twisted POV, which makes sense since he’s a prey animal and since Flies are quite vulnerable animals so this is a cool idea

I very much like this. A lot like it shows us characters perspectives And it also basically says to understand the full story, get both sides or all the sides of the story. We can tell that the toad was extremely lonely and saw the world as cutesy and fun, and we have the fly over here, scared and terrified and just saw the world as a nightmare place.

When are they kissing.... Jokes aside, I love this animation, I personally see Roald, as a sweet individual while with good intentions, they're oblivious to their childish faults and end up pushing away everyone from them, as shown with no one coming to his birthday. The fly on the other hand, as shown with Roald's perspective, shown genuine interest with Roald's party, I mean, he showed up on his free will knowing Roald prior with the gift, but the fly becomes overwhelmed with the societal fears he's been so acclimated with, scared Roald will go sour on him like others could.

I think Roald is lonely because most of the other animals he lives around are smaller and lesser creatures like the fly which frogs usually feed on. And the fly is naturally terrified because flogs primarily eat flies as we all know

Interesting! Nicely done. : ) As for the title, I guess that'd depend on which one of these two creatures is actually having the full-on, no symptoms barred, psychotic break. This could all be a construct in the frog's head. The "fly" (girl?/boy?) was never even "there." Or the poor fly has a very active over-imagination and a literal overwhelming fear of others. The frog wanted a solid self-thrown birthday party (nothing "wrong" or mega egoic with that, eh?!) which could be the catalyst for the fly?? IDK... great thought experiment though. Well done though. Nice to see good ones come through. Thanks for sharing!! : )

Хмм... Любопытно... Мне сначало казалось что это типичная история про психа _(не понимающий, что он псих)_ и его бедную жертву... Но просмотрев до конца _(и заметив что с перспективы мухи происходит не меньше сюра чем с перспективы лягушки)_ мне теперь кажется _(могу очень сильно ошибаться, но всё же)_ этот мульт про разные мировоззрения, в нашем случае один является оптимистом, а другой писимистом... В любом случае, мна понравилось! ❤❤❤

Beautiful work, with expressive contrasts of style! Interesting to wonder whose perspective was more accurate. Maybe one character had an accurate idea and one was fully delusional. Or maybe they're both delusional and it was just an extremely awkward party.

At first I was not so flattered by the cutesy style but it got really interesting once a new perspective was introduced. I'm impressed. It reminds me kind of a game Hungry Lamu which also has similar gimmick of different perspective shift. a character with Pyrovision is always really cool to see.
