An important point to mention: This video does not attempt to glorify Higher CGPA. I completely agree that there is no relationship between a person's CGPA and his/her life ambition or happiness. Rather this video intends to highlight the relative ignorance of many students towards CGPA, and what particular reasons work behind it.
In this video, I have reviewed the contemporary CGPA related discussion and cleared out some misconception regarding that. I have tried to answer the following question:
Why CGPA matters?
Why people are frustrated about CGPA?
What you should do to balance your CGPA and regular life?
Why people neglect CGPA?
Why your CGPA and your daily life are not mutually exclusive?
I hope you won't find it boring as I have discussed it in my way.

আমি জানতে চাচ্ছি যে, বিশেষ করে বাংলাদেশের প্রাইভেট ইউনিভার্সিটি গুলোর গ্রেডিং সিস্টেম একটা ভার্সিটির সাথে আর একটার আকাশ পাতাল পার্থক্য,,,, NSU তে ৯২+ পাইলে CGPA 4 ধরা হয়, অন্য দিকে অন্য গুলোতে ৮০+ পাইলেই CGPA 4 ধরা হয়,,,,ধরুন আমি NSU থেকে 70 মার্কে CGPA 2.50 পাইলাম,,,আর একজন অন্য ভার্সিটি থেকে 70 মার্কে CGPA 3.25 পাইলো,,,চাকুরির ক্ষেত্রে কাকে প্রাধান্য দেওয়া হবে??? এখানে তো একই মার্ক পেয়েও গ্রেডিং সিস্টেম এর কারনে দু জনের CGPA তে অনেক বড় পার্থক্য🤔🤔🤔

Yeah, I can confirm that having a good cgpa does not mean you need to sacrifice other things in life. I study EEE at NSU, I have 3.8 cgpa. I play a lot of pc games, I watch a lot of anime and I used to participate in all cultural festivals. Amazing video, sir !!!!!

@@iamstupid6621 because it's easy to get your CGPA higher in private University rather than public or national ... there are CT , mid, Presentation and attendance so that private university students get 50% marks and rest of 50 is for semester final..on the other hand the distribution for public more or less 60-40 ratio /70-30...and in national university it's going down to 70-30 / 80-20

আসসালামু আলাইকুম। একটা জিনিস নিজের মধ্যে খেয়াল করলাম। কিছু বছর ধরে আমি নিজের ব্যর্থতাগুলোতে কষ্ট পাই না বা আমাকে সেরকম নাড়া দেয় না। যার কারণে সফল হওয়ার জন্য যে জোশ লাগে সেটাও পাই না। আমার সামনে সেমিস্টার ফাইনাল কিন্তু আমার মধ্যে সেই জোশটা আমি খুঁজে পাচ্ছি না সফল হওয়ার জন্য যেটা অপরিহার্য। এটা অস্বীকার করার উপায় নেই যে ব্যর্থতা কিছুটা হলেও ধাক্কা দিয়ে যায় যেজন্য সফল হওয়ার তীব্র ইচ্ছা কাজ করে। কিন্তু আমি সেই আঘাতটা অনুভব করি না যেটা আগে করতাম। সবাই বলে যে সফল না হলে ভেঙে পড়তে নেই। কিন্তু আমি বলব যে আমরা ভেঙে পড়ি বলেই আবার নতুনভাবে গড়ে উঠি।

a lot of people have misconception about high cgpa and high cgpa holders. I am currently in 3rd year maintaining cgpa 3.86 (CSE dpt) , most of the people at university thinks I study all day long, I don't have time for anything else in life. But they're totally wrong. Maintaining cgpa doesn't affect daily life as much as people think. Getting a high cgpa will definitely be helpful in the long run and while going for it don't forget to enjoy your varsity life, don't listen to the people who discourage you and says it's very hard. It's upto you what you want to achieve.

1. university freshmen like me tend to get instant / almost instant result of what they do. i.e : someone learns about pde now he wants to see real life implementation of it. but university neither shows him the applications nor gives him time to discover it himself. meanwhile they get to know about robotics / coding where results are instant, totally relatable to real life. i guess this is the reason freshmen start disliking the academic knowledge. 2. i'm currently on my 1-2 semester , i was an attentive student in 1-1. however i have forgotten a major part of what i learnt in previous semester. by the time of my graduation year, i might forget everything i was taught in 1st year. so we end up underestimating cgpa. hope you'll notice this comment and clear my confusions. take love vaia

Number 2 happens with everyone. This can't be the reason of hating cgpa. Me also had to revise everything before appearing the viva board. About no 1 point, maybe there are a lot of things which is not meant to be connected with the real world. But that doesn't mean you have to disregard THIS. Everything comes in handy in a point of life.
