Yellow's play was smart because it never makes sense to hit yellow first in that scenario. Yellow always gets second if everyone pulled ahead on troops or even first if one of you slammed each other prematurely.

Indeed, when Magenta hit Yellow it was an immediate loss for Magenta. Hitting somebody with 0 cards doesn't help you in this scenario, but it would have been helpless if the other two kept trading for many turns

If magenta just finished the kill instead of just slamming the big stack for no reason yellow would get third, yellow was ahead and lost the win, then magenta gave away his free win, weird players.

@@andersjensen1448 magenta gained nothing from attacking yellow though. Yellow did the best thing possible when aiming for 2nd. First place was a forgone conclusion at that point, magenta would've ran away with it had they not made that one bad play.

Ya, Yellow gambled for the win, and at worst, might get 3rd if someone figured out that was their play and eliminatedthem on principle, most likely 2nd place game wise.

This was indeed very odd. I guess the theory for yellow was to make itself unatractive as a target. Even if you do take them out, you would get nothing. Of course that late when card trades become the main income, that just puts you further and further behind.

CG, You could have card blocked purple by splitting your troops. purple is only getting 17 a turn so you stack 28ish on a tile and give them 0% rolls.

Why not card block pink by leaving troops behind when you take your card? Their main stack was trapped.

Because if they did that, magenta would've fortfied foward and slammed whatever stack yellow put there. Yellow was trying to get Red and Magenta to ignore him, fight eachother, and Yellow could clean up. Magenta slamming Yellow was the worst outcome for both of them.

yellows play was actually smart, he read pink being a bad player and would look to slam you for cards, then he would kill pink for the win, pink slamming yellow for 0 cards though 🤣🤣🤣 what was he thinking!!

Magenta mightve figured it out he was be played against red to be fodder and just slammed Yellow to ensure Yellow couldn't win either.

I think ive played against yellow on caps mode before, also card skipped and was yellow so probably was him and sure enough he got second because I missed my opportunity to hit his cap when it was cheap

Yeah so here you could have just stacked 50 troops on a bonus each time or more so that pink cannot keep attacking a territory. Yellow wanted you to stop attacking so you can both eventually team up, but clearly you havne't thought of this scenario
