Hey Slayer ( fav band btw ). This may be a dumb question, but how can CGR work around being power locked? Specifically Nimrod gives me issues when I try to use CGR against him in Battlegrounds. I always find myself special locked as soon as I am about to get my sp2 - and because of the duration, it really messes up my fights against him ( or anyone that can power lock CGR )

Power is very important for CGR, considering it gives him more Judgements. Nimrod already isn't a great matchup for CGR since he reduces Armor Break potency by 100%. So if you face Nimrod with CGR you're gonna want to use a Sp3 cycle. I have a video titled "Brian Grant becomes the God of CGR" if you wanna see a live example of that. Anyways, you really don't wanna use CGR against Power-limiting scenarios, unless you can time your Power Gain properly. It just depends on the situation.

yeah I've been doing this a few years. Always called it 6 Aptitude because that's the peak amount you have at one time. It doesn't matter if you get any hits in while 6 are active. It doesn't matter if the Aptitude Buffs fall off

In that cycle, you're not supposed to get Aptitude after your Sp3, you're supposed to get it before. He doesn't need the Awaken or anything. That question makes me think you didn't finish the guide. Definitely give it a full watch and then practice. Make sure you actually understand how it works before you try it.

I know I'm late, but is it a train smash if I dex after the judgements expire from the first cycle? At this point, I don't know how to NOT dex. It's just twitch memory now

If you Dex in the second cycle then yeah you won't get the Precision buff from Sp2 and you'll crit less. This rotation still has a ton of damage so it's not the biggest deal but I suggest you don't Dex as much as possible in that second loop and just try to be more conscious of your actions in the game lol

You need to launch your Sp3 before your Judgements reset (while there are 5 Judgements), not after the Judgments expire. I explain this in the video.

He can do it Unawakened! Damnation is just the Awakened version of Power Lock. They both function the same for Judgements and stuff. I have a video about his Sig ability if you'd like to check that out, it goes over everything it does.

Any “judgement” buff you get in that 6 second window after you’ve placed the 5th judgment AS LONG AS YOU HAVENT TRIGGERED IT IN THAT INITIAL 5 can be stacked. So you probably used a heavy in that initial 5. Technically it could be any of his judgment buffs that stack, just that heavy is the quickest, if you could get off 2 MLLLL in six seconds you would get 2 power gains for example.

The 302k medium was also due to the tons of Armor Breaks active against Red Hulk. That many Armor Breaks required more ramp-up than is realistic in most scenarios - it's too much damage for most defenders to survive. Showing the potential is great, though.
