1943 Kai review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of 1943 Kai as included in the Capcom Arcade Cabinet for the PlayStation 3 developed and published by Capcom.
Even in 1987, Capcom could foresee how things would eventually work in the gaming industry. A year after releasing 1943 to arcades, they rereleased an enhanced version as 1943 Kai. Sadly, the game would only be released in Japan, but if you've downloaded all five game packs in the Capcom Arcade Cabinet, you can get it for free on the PlayStation 3. 1943 Kai is essentially a "turbo" version of the arcade classic 1943. The plane and weapons have been changed, the graphics have been tweaked and the game is generally more difficult. And for free? Not a bad deal.

Yeah, you get lasers in the 1987 1943 as well, but thanks for playing.

Awesome enhanced port of 1943. The only downside is the fact that you get an automatic game over when you reach level 10, no matter how unlimited your continues are. In a sense, they went FULL Vulgus on me. Guess unlocking all the bonus content is much harder than I realize, whether it's Vulgus or 1943 Kai. These games can test mettle and your patience, even on the easiest settings.

***** the first game was called 1942, the sequel was called 1943. this is an enhanced version of the 2nd game (it's the 3rd game in the series)

TheRealJuralumin Este juego es el de Arcadia? Descargué uno la semana pasada y lo confundí con 1942, ese juego está feo! El de 1943 es el que quisiera para la play station 3 más no estoy seguro, por que no dice KAI
