Metroid Prime Pinball is a true masterpiece of game design and remains as the single greatest Metroid game, heck even the greatest game ever created. It's a shame that no game will ever surpass it.

I would love a MP Pinball sequel. MP Pinball by itself is pretty fantastic. However, I'm pretty sure if Nintendo were to announce a MP Pinball sequel, people would hate it just as much as Federation Force. Not that I can blame them tho, considering Metroid's last considerably solid game was Prime 3 in 2009, people really want a game at the same level as Prime 1 or Super Metroid. Those are super high expectations, and anything less such as a MP Pinball 2 will garner tons of hate.

One minor note: The physics don't look very realistic. The ball's lazy acceleration when rolling makes it look like it's rolling on a soft surface instead of a hard surface, and the powered bumpers should fling the ball with _much_ more force than they do. In this game they behave as if they are simple rubber bands that the pinball is bouncing off. In reality, the powered bumpers in a pinball table sense the impact of the ball and then electromagnetically pull the endpoints away from each other, tightening the rubber band and imparting a lot of extra energy to the pinball. So...anyone buying this game for vintage fun should consider that it's not a very realistic pinball game to begin with, if that's important to them.

This is one of my favorite games ever. Every time there's a new pinball game, I get excited because I want it to be as good as Metroid Pinball. But they aren't. I love video game pinball more than real life pinball, and it's because of games like this.

coming off the prime series and loving zero mission, i absolutely loved this game. i wouldn't love pinball the way i do if it wasn't for this game. i might not love Metroid the same way either

I wouldn't mind a sequel to Metroid Fusion where Samus initially has trouble with the Galactic Federation due to her actions with the space station. That is a cliff hanger just begging to be resolved.

According to Metroid Prime fans, this is closer to Metroid Prime than Federation Force, the game that uses the same controls as Metroid Prime, because Samus is in it. BS.

Over the course of the last 4 - 5 yrs., I've kinda lost my interest in *_most_* video games but, this is something I think I could really get into. I was aware of it when it came out but, I never really looked into it until now. Now, I mostly just enjoy playing retro games from past gen consoles that most have long forgotten and consider obsolete yet - no mtx's, no overpriced garbage dlc's, no season passes, no day one patches, very few if any bugs and truly FULL games at a fraction of their original debut price? Can't go wrong with that. I'll take that any day over almost any current or upcoming game...

He's referring to "Sonic Spinball," a god awful pinball game that stars Sonic and was released in 1993 on the Genesis. Also released in 1993, and in the same month, was a good, themed pinball game called "Kirby's Pinball Land. Anyway, there are quite a few themed pinball games out there, so I would say they're copying a specific one.
