54:23😢😭😢😭😢😭😢😭😢😭 Two of Confucians favourite Disciple *Zhong You仲由 (542-480 BC), commonly known by his courtesy names Zilu and Jilu, was one of the best known and most faithful disciples of Confucius.[1][2] Among Confucius's disciples, he was the second in terms of ability and accomplishment in statesmanship, after Ran Qiu.[2] He was noted for his valour and sense of justice, but Confucius often warned him against acting without forethought.[1] He was killed in the State of Wey in defence of his lord Kong Kui.[2]In Confucian temples, Zhong You's spirit tablet is placed fourth among the Twelve Wise Ones, on the east.仲由（前542年－前480年），字子路，或稱季路，鲁国卞人，是孔子的著名弟子，孔門十哲之一，亦為《二十四孝》中為親負米的主角。少孔子九歲，也是弟子中侍奉孔子最久者。[1]子路後來追隨衛國大夫孔悝，在衛後莊公發動的兵變中，子路為了救孔悝而殉職，其遺體被衛後莊公施以醢刑（剁成肉醬）。 *颜回Yan Hui (c.  521-481 BC) was a Chinese philosopher. He died at an early age.Yan Hui is venerated at the Temple of Yan Hui, which is located in Qufu's walled city, a few blocks north of the Temple of Confucius. Yan Hui's tomb is now surrounded by hundreds of tombs of his descendants, forming the Yan Family Cemetery ("Yan Forest"). A stele was installed at his tomb during the Jurchen Jin dynasty, and re-erected during the Ming Dynasty. The tomb is well preserved.顏回（前521年－前481年），字子淵，又稱顏子、顏淵。唐代為避李淵名諱，曾改其字為子泉。春秋魯國人。孔子七十二門徒之首。孔門十哲中德行科之一。被視作孔子最得意的弟子，位居孔門第一位。顏回年紀比孔子少三十歲，也有说法是比孔子小四十岁[1]。家境貧窮，但能安貧樂道；為人聰敏、好學，聞一知十；品行優越，孔子稱讚其賢德，是孔子心法傳承的直系弟子，但年僅四十歲就去世了，後世尊稱為「復聖」。

Don’t get confused when you first study it. Although it is hard to fully understand hidden meanings in sages’ teachings, you will achieve the goal if you try to dig in. It is your willpower which matters the most, I believe. The world we are living in is full of chaos and only by applying great Eastern philosophies into our daily life could we save it from social-economic problems. Is there anyone who shares my belief?

I am quite interested in your case considering that you are a rare Western man who could lay all your trust in Confucius’s teachings because in fact the Western people are more inclined to follow materialistic values and so on rather than ancient Eastern philosophies which teach people to be mindful of their responsibilities as well as dignities. Could you please share with me? About what the people in the West tend to think of the world, their responsibility and moral values. I don’t think that all of them loves to enjoy the life or that they dislike ethical teachings because they think of these ideals as obsolete or useless. In the East itself, people are, sadly, getting more and more idle, mendacious and greedy while considering Eastern philosophies as outdated and unsuitable. The world today is like Atlantis then.

They are not irreconcilable. Systems develop and evolve based on strong principles that remain. Living traditions integrate new ideas in accordance with the times and conditions.

Confucianism is philosophy lead to values, lead to conduct, lead to manners, lead to statecraft, lead to guidance on standards to recruit people of talent and virtues, lead to learning culture, learning method to learning through experience constant revising as time passes by. This is why Chinese Families put SO MUCH PREMIUM on education. In Confucian period Merchants or today's business people aka Capitalist are Despised and LOWEST class in society LOL. As time goes by Human knowledge increases as Marxism came the Knowledge of Capitalist, Imperialist Nations and how they work add to New knowledge. Some Truths still held true but some no longer suitable in Modern times. Hence Confucianism is still taught but revised to suit modern times. But some Truths remains and stood the test of time, some more complicated as its not applicable to all situations. Virtues for example is Priceless but is also not worth a cent in front of Tyranny that will just invade you instead of Talking Reason. President Xi is reviving the relevant parts as well as recover most of the Priceless knowledge handed down from generation to generation as Chinese Culture need to revitalize as Modern Capitalism has eroded the Chinese identity too much.

Pity that indians instead of cherishing their heritage in order to show it to the world, they instead are always trying to "prove" their culture is superior to others. That toxic mentality is the reason why India is lagging behind, and China is a world power.
