My great great grandfather came to Singapore from China's Fujian Province when he was just 17 at the turn of the last century, worked his way up to amaze a little bit of a fortune, raised a family here and when he knew it's time, went back to his hometown of Yungchun to die and be buried there. That's the love for the motherland which is still burning in every Singapore Chinese as well as the rest of South East Asia and beyond. Long live my majestically beautiful ancestral motherland China
