I live in Canada and I typically drive Japanese made cars. I spent a few months in China last year and was very impresed with the quality and selection of Chinese made vehicles. It is unlikely that the Canadian government will allow such vehicles to be sold here due to political reasons. I would definitely consider one, especially the smaller cars, if they were available for purchase.

If you have been to China you should see that foreign brand coexist with the Chinese cars. I would honestly urge western governments to have some faith in their car industry and just don’t assume the Chinese cars can destroy the market. Competition lead to innovation after all

chinese cars and china made quality is already exceeding the west in most categories .except the super high ends ones . china still lags behind in brand development and brand emotions . they should hires french branding expert . 😊
