My family along with a lot of others in our rural town went down with what we thought was a really REALLY bad dose of flu in october/November 2019. When several had COVID tests done in the early 2020 turned out they were already positive for having had it and I know at least one who when she had x-rays done had the typical glass lung after effects. This was in Europe and I do actually know someone who had it then visited her family in China for Xmas, she was convinced she took it with her [no idea if she did] and infected China. It was found in Italy - killing people - back in early summer as well as they discovered when they tested samples from the autopsies later during 2021 I think it was. The thing is, there are US troops - thousands of them - stationed in Europe and I've often wondered if they brought it with them, the way they also brought Spanish flu with them that also killed millions from 1918 +
