A young Kenyan is proving that a lack of funding should not affect your dreams. Samuel Zila is a self-taught robot maker. His creations help around the house, but he has far bigger dreams for them in the future. CGTN's Wilkister Nyabwa has this story.

Great job, brother. Somebody please help this young man by sponsoring him financially. We need more young people like him in Africa. We have way too many music entertainers and dancers than inventors like this young brother here. That's why our enemies keep saying we're only good at dancing, and sports. We need to be good at science and technology too.

Tertullian Tertulian he is very smart. I also hope he gets sponsored.

I totally agree with you. Too many brilliant guys like him all over Africa. Governments should encourage and sponsor them. Take them to conventional tech schools or universities. If he was a guy with a dubious beat the whole of Africa and diaspora would know him and start dancing. Africans hate progress innovations but love dancing. As an African am stating that we should stop depending on others or begging them, worshipping them.

The problem is the society we live in. The government can't fund everything. The billionaires we have in the country are selfish, they don't give back. What they do is exploiting. They don't invest in young people
