I broke up with my girlfriend she refuses to leave my home because I broke up with her she has threatened to call my work and try to get me fired. We live in a Studio loft it is very small so there is no type of separation. She has been very boisterous in fact the other night I had to call the police due to that. Of course she started crying when they arrived. I wanted them to remove her but they said that they could not. Being that we live in the studio it is very uncomfortable for me. I sleep with one eye open because I do not know what may happen. Also my cholesterol has risen to a point to where my Doctor said that I am a sure candidate for a stroke, And it is not from the foods that I eat. Can I get a restraining order which will help get her out? Also my name is only on the lease not hers.

It’s the start of the restraining order process. After submitting this form you will get a court date and a judge will decide whether or not to issue the 5 year AKA permanent restraining order. This would be step one in obtaining that 5 year order. Hope this was the answer you were seeking
