Sir angle shouldn't decrease when repulsion increases, it should increase
@chemistrybyprof.javediqbal11 ай бұрын
No beta in H2O angle is 104.5 due lone pair - lone pair Repulsion in NH3 angle is 107.5 due less Repulsion than water it is lone pair and bond pair Repulsion

Repulsion is not inversely proportional to angle . Increase in repulsion increases bond angle, as you have yourself stated that due to repulsion electron pairs are placed as far apart as possible. The angle between bond pair decreases due to high repulsion in lone pair,. Lone pair occupies more space due to high charge density,

@chemistrybyprof.javediqbal2 жыл бұрын
Be loses two Electrons to follow doublet rule and two cl gain one Electron each to follow octet rule and become stable

@chemistrybyprof.javediqbal Жыл бұрын
Non polar gases are near to ideal because they have weak intermolecular forces like London dispersion forces and polar gases are more non ideal because they have strong intermolecular forces like NH3
