Fascinating to see what's going on in that corner by the stove--a window, bricks, a pipe, hmmmm. Also love the rhubarb!

Hi Marcus, if you move the white table and the chairs you can put your trailer near the barn to put the wood pieces

It's a real hassle trying to remove tongue and groove when it's been nailed down. The only way to prevent it is to use screws when you do it, that way you'll easily be able to get access if you need. The best with nails is to pry it just enough that you can raise the head of the nails and remove each one first, a time consuming process. It's really interesting to see how it looked originally with those thick timbers. It looks like you're getting ready for huge changes, great door for your pantry.👍

Have you thought of taking the boards off the outside of the cabin and insulating from the outside. You would not have to lose space in the interior and you would preserve the look of the inside.
@42apprentice3 ай бұрын
Might be worth investing in a router, that way you could trim the broken grooves off and cut new ones, you’d lose some width but not the whole plank?

Just curious. Are you planning on putting some kind of insulation on the exterior kitchen walls to keep the cold out and the warmth in?
@MarcusStorm3 ай бұрын
I’ll start with the interior walls and see if that’s enough. If not, I’ll do the exterior walls too

The trouble with the old tongue and groove is it gets so dry and brittle as it ages. Just like hardwood flooring, it is hard to save.
@susanmary47523 ай бұрын
Great job removing all that tongue and groove. Can't wait to see the new window appear in that wall. Really bring in a lot of light. What's all the timber for?

Be sure to cover or plug the ends of your new boiler lines. Once debris (big or small) gets in it's very difficult to remove. Love watching your progress. Also the wooden coffee mug is great!

@MarcusStorm3 ай бұрын
Vad kul!

I would love to binge watch your videos ; unfortunately your play list is all scrambled up. It starts with episodes 32, then later on you realize that it’s going out of order then you get the correct pattern. It only takes 10 minutes to re-create a proper playlist in chronological order… starting with episode 1. It would be awesome, if you could re-create your playlist… pretty please 😊
