COA 12 lakh thi starting mei par 2 lakh ka depreciation lag gaya 1st year mei toh COA 10 lakh ho gayi itna samaj aaya ? Ab Refund ho gaya toh COA mei se ho grant pehele minus Kiya tha ab plus karna padega? Toh 10 lakh + 5 lakh yani ab COA 15 lakh ho gayi. Ab depreciation ka formula kya hota hai? (Cost of Asset - Scrap value)/Life of asset Iss asset ki life 4 sal thi (given in question) par 1 sal toh already beet chuka hai toh ab life 3 sal bachi. And scrap/residual value question mei di hai 4 lakh Toh depreciation ke formula mei put karde values :- [ 15 lakh (C.O.A.) - 4 lakh (S.V.) ] / 3 (remaining life of asset) = 3,66,666.666

Maybe mai utna ache se explain na kar paau but sunn lo.... Enterprise ne already costs incurr kr liye h and ab usko govt ke through grant milne wala h jo ki un already incurred costs ke liye compensation hone wala h.... Ab qki enterprise ne apne expenses already book kr liye the jis FY me arise hue islye ab usko jo grant milega wo usse uss accounting year me record krna padega jisme wo receivable hoga and qki ye ordinary course of business me arise nhi hota na us amount ko aap as per AS 5 extraordinary item ki tarah disclose karoge....... Conclusion ye h ki amount ko recognise bhii karna h and separate disclosure bhi dena h as an extraordinary item
