Vancouver is such a beautiful city. Have spent some time in Toronto many years back but never had a chance to swing by Vancouver. Must plan a visit hopefully soon. Thanks for the intro Derek.

Hi Derek, albeit the standard of living have gone up too much in Vancouver, it is the most beautiful city in North America, & I’m privileged to ave lived here for 5 decades. Not many cities is built amongst the forest, snow-capped mountains & if u visit in the summer, there’s flowers everywhere. And perfect for Chinese immigrants, as we have the best Asian food here!

Derek, thank you so much for the video. Awesome suggestions on places to go. We’re in Vancouver now, and definitely enjoyed the Granville Island and Stanley Park. Even the ice-cream cafe! Lol … couldn’t find the perfect spot to view the Lion Gate Bridge as you mentioned in the video though.

Awesome content! I’ve got a few questions: why is your video not very sharp? Was it due to low resolution upload? I thought the Insta360 is a good camera? Also, where did you rent the Tesla? Thanks, looking forward for more awesome videos. Cheers

Other than the mask mandate, HKers should appreciate the upcoming St. Jean Baptise Day next week, when people in Quebec celebrate their own national day, then a week later, join the rest of the country, celebrate Canada Day. How unique it is to have TWO national days in this country!
@davewong48342 жыл бұрын
Under the constitution, Quebec is recognized as a distinguished society, not only a province but also a nation, therefore given a special power to run its government, independent from the Canadian law. The no-cause rule allows the government to set its own legislation without the federal government's interference regarding French culture and immigration.

Thank you for making a tourist's promotion for Vancouver. It is always nice to travel, eh? Settle down is always a different story.
@andcheung2 жыл бұрын
I have lived there for a couple of years. Yes it is a nice place for a short visit but you should think twice if you want to settle there. Not a good place for younger and ambitious people. More suitable for retirees or people who want a slow pace lives
@Elba Que

Just finished a Quebec by the Sea trip. Drove all the way from Toronto to Rimouski. Cross the St. Lawrence River and back to Quebec city then final stop at Montreal. Beautiful cities and friendly people. English is no problem in most area but in small towns are more French friendly. Don't worry, just use the Google translate. I have been living in Vancouver for 30 years, yes it is a beautiful city but also a very expensive city.
