This is another foreshadowing their future...this time from Lan zhan side...lan zhan told him the truth when wei ying teased him cuz the way he carries himself no woman will wants to marry him...lan zhan is like its fine cuz i only want to marry u later so forgot any woman lmfaooo.....also what i noticed lanzhan in this new clip he has been very well aware of wei ying touching n hugging him to bed so many time yet he just going along with it spell def broken since he hit wei ying back for trying to touch his mo hahaha...thought lan zhan doesnt want to be touch by wei ying cuz he is not familiar with him yet from before this scene...he def falls for wei ying at this drunk stage...rem truths always come out when ur drunk...wei ying spells def broken yet he just going along with it cuz deep down he wants to be touch by his crush wei ying...any human beings always wants to be touch by ur crush hahaha...i want to see bloopers where both r shy n blushing n lauging for hugging so many time. I just want them to create a new story where they left of. The author gave up. I hope the show creators didn't. The drama is way too successful now

It is up to the readers mind of how their future is. The drama have really talented writers and creators. If they find a way to create an interesting plot with the original cast, I pray they go for it. It's too sad to close a story like this. There is too many potential. It's becoming viral internationally. It'll be a waste to not continue somehow.

@@thankyouh its not sad to close the story like this , you just go read the novel and know what happens in the extra chapters which clearly can't be included due to chinese censors. if they add more to the story in the part where Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are supposed to finally be lovers & show that they are not lovers the original novel fans will be upset. that was the best ending the drama could have with avoiding censorship. The story is over.

Night hunting, mentoring juniors, visiting other clans, solving more cases or the mystery of the burner or new storyline. There is a lot of ways they can create season 2. The story can go on without the author's vision.
