Ayanga (AYunGa in mandarin) was an Inner Mongolia child who grew up in a shepherd’s home and was educated in Mongolian language school. Coming from Tengri’s village, Mongolian music and dance is in his blood and daily life. After he lost his father at 3 and mother at 6 or 7, he was raised by his older brother, who passed away when Ayanga entered college. He joined art school at fifth grade to study dance and became a professional dancer of a military art troupe at age 14. After performing nonstop tours in Inner Mongolia and important functions in Beijing for a few years, he decided to go to college to study more. Arriving at Beijing with only 100 RMB in his pocket, he found a dance job (performing ballet dance leading role in “Erdos Wedding” world heritage performance twice a day) in dinner theater and sang at pubs, then he finally saved enough money for college in 4 years. During this time, he self taught himself piano, compose songs, and performed at his first musical. After serious dance injury that prevented him from dancing professionally in the future, he decided to study musical theater. Accepted by all 3 top colleges for acting, he went to Beijing Dance Academy at the invitation of its music school dean who said that he was moved to tears when he heard Ayanga sing at a dinner function. During college, Ayanga helped teachers coaching his classmates as class head, composed, modeled, performed musicals, and he also learned and fine tuned his mandarin good enough to do dubbing job. After performing the leading role in a major musical on prime stage when he was a senior student, he was recruited by Beijing Opera and Musical Theater as a solo singer in 2012. Since then, he has performed both domestically and internationally in state functions, won awards, sang songs for TV dramas, composed and released solo album, acted in TV drama/film and often performed on TV programs to promote musicals and Mongolian culture. Despite his busy schedule, every year he tried to leave enough time to play in musicals he deemed worthwhile, for example “A moment of remembrance” about Alzheimer’s disease and “A bucket list” about last wishes. After becoming famous in Super Vocal program in 2018, he was on “Singer 2019” from episode 6 to end, and then on “Our songs” program in late 2019. He will release his second solo album at end of July.

Although two people love each other, they cannot be together and their love would “stop frame” at the most beautiful memory. In the program, they were talking about incorporating musical into the song. Ayanga said that is no problem. Many musicals have these kinds of love, like Phantom or Notre dame de Paris. So he sang part of “Danse Mom Esmeralda” from French Musical “Nortre Dame de Paris.” This song was sung by Quasimodo to express his tragic love after Esmeralda died. This is a very good collaboration of musical and pop style singings. Upon watching Ayanga’s performance on TV, Richard Charest, the original French musical singer for “Notree Dame de Paris” was so impressed by Ayanga’s great singing and perfect pronunciation, he issued an invitation to Ayanga online to sing a duet of “Le temps des cathédrales.”

This collaboration is outstanding! Two really dedicated, soulful singers expressing a love that would not be. The first part was full of loneliness and longing, the second an explosive outburst of love for a loved one gone. Their singing just tugs at your heartstrings. It would be so wonderful to hear Ayanga's duet with Richard Charest! Ayanga's French pronunciation has improved a lot. 聽嘎子唱了很多大歌，我們粉絲太清楚這方面他的能力在哪裡。此次跟蔡健雅老師搭檔，覺得特別開心。因為肯定能解鎖嘎子的新曲風，於是我們有了這首「停格+Danse mon Esmeralda」。停格基本上是靈魂藍調的風格，過去還沒怎麼聽過嘎子唱這種曲風，這曲子和聲非常難，而且剛好落在嘎子不是很舒適的聲區，但他完成得很好。巴黎聖母院那段就不用說了，讓嘎子唱這類歌曲就是開大。聽慣了慷慨激昂的嘎子，聽聽停格裡內斂細膩而感傷的阿嘎，實在太滿足。

Kathleen Guan 真的是越聽越好聽的一首歌。有沒有發覺我們的歌裡，飄洋過海來看你跟這首都好適合晚上循環播放，嘎子不但可以晴空萬里澎湃激昂，還可以夜深人靜明媚憂傷，😂😂😂除了想很久的搖滾，開始期待嘎子唱爵士藍調風格的歌。（狀態顯示音粉的貪心）
