At age 77 years old & never grow anything in my entire life. This spring, Itry to grow sweet potatoes in five 15 gallon grow bags I purchased on line. 3 bags are for eating purple yam tulips & 2 bags are for eating Japanese sweet potatoes leaves. I am growing roots from a store bought purple yams & Japanese yam now. Hopefully in spring, I ill have enough slips to grow in my grow bags. I have following questions and need your advice: 1. The soil mixture ratio is 50% per light, 25% top soil & 25% chicken marnure. Is this incorrect? 2. Do I need to use fertilizer during all 5-6 months growing period. If yes, what kind, how much & how often? 3. After harvesting for this season, what do I do with soil mixture in the grow bag? Can I save them for next season? If so, what do I need to do before using those soil for the next season? Do I need all 3 ingredients or just 1 or 2 of them? Pls reply in Chinese. I can read, write & speak Chinese perfectly. I just hate to write Chinese using "Pen Power" since it takes so long, therefore, I am writing you in English.
