Actually his English is not at the level of a native speaker. He has a good accent, but lots of vocabs he used are not those usually used by native speakers or by people who have lived in an English environment. His English is typical of someone with very good English level in a non-English environment. Also, 1480 SAT is not “super high”, it’s only “good”. Most good level kids get above 1500, and to get into top schools, you need at least 1560 ~ 1600 (full score). Yes, as a 13-yo, it’s not bad, but he is not by any means “unique” or “superb” in US. Not saying he’s not smart, but please don’t distort the fact about the general US students and education. (Also, UC Santa Cruz is NOT a top UC……)

還是有台灣人的腔調,證明語言腔幼稚園大概就定型,國小出國的回來有的喜歡裝abc腔,真的不用

他這種英文也算好?mechanical talk. wordings, grammar, intonations. ? pronunciation? give me a break!!! what about 5 years from now? all straight A in NYU? any published papers?
