Oh dear, i remember my little adventure with the Tanaka M870... Different shotgun, but same principle with the gas shells. Now it's impossible to find a video about these shotguns that isn't over 10 years old... Man I'm getting old! Must have paid close to 700€ for mine back then. Broke within a few weeks... The store owner looked at the gun and asked me if i had shoved a screwdriver in there and wiggled it around, because it was completely scratched-up on the inside. Probably a part that came loose and wrecked havoc on the internals. Plus the shells would break easily when hitting a hard surface. He believed me when i swore that i didn't poke it with a screwdriver, and he took the gun back and let me pick out an AEG for free. And that was the end of that. Now that i'm older, i own a real Mossberg 500 ATP shotgun. And i recently ordered this silly shell ejecting M1887 Nerf gun from Aliexpress for 60€, just so that i can walk around the house and shoot random things! And after i ordered it, it came to my mind that both the real shotgun and the fake Nerf gun combined, were still cheaper than that Tanaka M870 from all those years ago! And still... That Tanaka M1897 is one of the most beautiful airsoft shotguns ever made. and I'm still kinda jealous of you haha! Take good car of it ;)
