lakkia people, interestingly they don't speak a mienic language like many other yao peoples. they speak a kra-dai language liked zhuang and thai but of course they're very culturally yao.

Yes, even if they are both from the Yao ethnic group. They still have many branches. The food, customs and language are all different! But they are all Taoist culture!

@@yanluo-jr5hd it's the same in the miao cultures. many branches most don't speak the same language and some aren't even hmongic speakers, there's some that are mienic speakers like the kim mun on hainan and the cao/grass miaos that actually related to the dong/kam-sui

My friend, the Yao people also speak the Yao language. They usually communicate with us in Chinese.
