Dimanche, vers l'heure du déjeuner, la petite famille a découvert un nouveau jeu : Cette tôle ^^. J'ai filmé mes chèvres (dont le nom restera secret par respect pour leur vie privée :) ) se balançant. Dans la soirée, j'ai voulu l'envoyer à un ami puis tout s'est enchaîné très vite. Je ne pense pas qu'elles se rendent vraiment compte de ce qui leur arrive : elles continuent à ruminer comme si de rien n'était...
Qui s'amuse le plus ? je l'ignore.

How fun is this.!!!! This brought back so many memories of my own goats, Johnny and Jody. We lowered our trampoline for them and they had a blast. They would jump around and play fight with each other, then it doubled as a nap spot. They would let their horns hang through the area between springs and snooze away! Goats, I found, are EXTREMELY smart!

I bet you the uploader of this video knew exactly what he was doing when he created that contraption for the goats - Knowing that goats have a peculiar affinity for jumping and balancing on objects, he knew that they would jump up on that contraption and try and balance on it. He then reckoned correctly that this video would go viral and make him a nice bundle of money. Good for him. Gotta love KZbin.

I myself am a vegan, so my own personal relationship with animals ought to be pretty obvious. But it's videos like this that really and truly prove to me that animals are more than just servants of man, there is clearly something more in these images. They are clearly having 'fun', surely a consciousness is at work here not unlike our own... If we can - and many civilizations, societies and individuals throughout the ages have shown this - gain nourishment through vegetation only, why don't we? Why farm any animal with even a modicum of the conscious thought displayed here, for our food? It is absurd to me... Peace!

Because it's the food chain. It's the way the organic world was designed. We aren't made to eat veggies all day. We come with enzymes, and a stomach fully prepared to eat meat. To abstain from eating meat is against nature. Now, i'm not saying that the horrible and criminal abuse of animals in slaughterhouses, or the way they exploit chickens, is justified. That should't exist. But still, i won't go against my nature of eating meat. It's not absurd, it's nature. Nature is never absurd, even when it seems to be.

They are complex organic molecules made up of smaller less complex (on the face of it!) organic compounds called *amino acids*, found....Well, most amino acids are made in the human body, *all* enzymes are (human enzymes anyway!). Some essential Amino Acids are found.....in plants *and* animals. No amino acid we need is not found in plants, or any amino acids we need are found in plants. So I ask you again, if it is no longer 'natural' to s**t in a little room outside of a house or into the middle of the street for the rain to wash it down the street into a river which we drink from, then why can't it be so to eat meat? Mollari42 Mate, some people absolutely CANNOT have a vegan diet because of medical reasons. For some people just living on vegetation isn't good for them and they could end up being very ill. So please. If someone wants to go for that way of life let them instead of forcing your beliefs onto them. I myself do eat meats but instead I use animal friendly products.

Look at my post again, did I attack you personally, or did I make a point in a discussion/forum? I absolutely agree, people who live in extremely arid or freezing temperatures, either because of their latitude or altitude, would find it pretty much impossible to be a vegan or vegetarian.
