It is undeniable fact that Manmohan Desai was the god of masala films. He redefined the Masala genre and gave many classics starting with Chalia in early 60s to mard in mid 80s. I haven't watched chacha bhatija but from this episode it looks very interesting film. 1977 was the best year for Manmohan Desai as he had not hattrick but hit the boundary with Chacha Bhatija, Dharam Veer, Amar Akbar Anthony and Parvarish all 4 becoming huge hits, the latter 3 being blockbuster hits. No one understood presenting characters with emotion, comedy and action all in one with same integrity as Manmohan Desai did in his fims. Even though his films had some illogical parts they still engaged and connected the audience all throughout without getting bored unlike today’s masala illogical films that bore you out so much that you want to leave the film just watching 5 minutes. That's the difference between Manmohan Desai and today’s filmmakers. The only director that managed to come somewhere close to him was Prakash Mehra. But still Manmohan Desai was best. Very well narrated episode rakesh bhai. Keep it up. 👍👍

​@@rakeshsadeodavid dhawan made some good entertaining films in 90s but honestly after 2000 his films level went down and had some double meaning comedy which doesn’t come anywhere close to Manji. The reason why i said prakash mehra is because i saw 3 of his films like namak halaal, lawaris and hera pheri which kind of comes close to Man ji's cinema if not match it. That's why i said it. But again Manji was in his own league and unbeatable in masala genre.

Rare information truly Rakesh ji 👍🏼 Mr Manmohan Desai made some blockbusters in late 70’s but they all turned out meaningless masala entertainers with time Only Director like Manmohan Desai could manage to show leading actors riding on horses jumping over the train, bus & horses climbing 10 storey building from stairs 😅😅 also if I remember correctly in climax in last 2 mins the star cast forgets & leaves the main villain Mr Jeevan hanging from under construction building & movie ends. I mean 😂😂 You can also see traces of his formula here lost & found, Muslim, Christian, Hindu unity etc like in Amar Akbar Anthony
