well, I don't know anybody who sparred both. Kovalev said that Bivol vs Beterbiev is a toss up. Arthur also has the boogie men effect, just like Canelo used to have. The worst that can happen if you fight Bivol is that you would get outclassed/humbled and receive a boxing lesson. Arthur can put you in hospital or/and retirement. The stakes are different. That being said Bivol vs Beterbiev is 50/50 for me.

I was a huge fan of Chad Dawson, but when you have 11 different trainers throughout your career, he clearly had an attitude problem. Chad had the talent to be an all-time great light heavyweight, but he didn't have the right attitude. He didn't have to be the most mentally strongest fighter, had Chad just stuck with one trainer before he won the title, he would have beaten everyone at LHW.

We travel to water-wells daily filling buckets of water. We dont have machines to cut grass for our livestock, we sit in a squatting position for hours cutting grass by hand. We only eat eat what we grow, no permanent electricity, we live around snakes, bears, leopards and wolves as our houses are within forrests. Beterbiev beat Kovalev in the amateurs. Artur actually reminds me a little of a bigger, stronger Golovkin in the way all of his shots hurt. Similar heavy hands. The difference between them is GGG started fading around 35, even his power. Beterbiev has slowed down in his late 30s but the power is still there. I don’t think Ward would’ve had a chance against Beterbiev but I respect Dawson’s opinion. Dawson was a good fighter.
