Broken hi-hat pedal?
@jrgreiner5 жыл бұрын
I don't think so. At the beginning, the hat is clearly open and he (somewhat) uses it in a more normal way, but after that.....I'd say it's more like a broken brain than the H/H.

Orlando has a jazz workshop. Are u talking about Orlando Florida?
@nathanielwilliford25895 жыл бұрын
Yea it just started last year. Last year it was called the south Orlando jazz workshop and this year it was just the Orlando jazz workshop. But it was great. Dick Oatts, Chad LB, Terell Stafford, and Adam Nussbaum were there dude. It was really great

Dont usually enjoy CLB so much but that was great. Amusing all the horn players to the left shifting around getting itchy cant wait for their break. I do that too!

What do you usually not like about chad?
@timmo4914 жыл бұрын
@@kennethreed8746 hi Kenneth. I usually do not enjoy the circular effect of every tenor player out there doing his best to mimic the style of Brecker and to an extent Chris Potter ie too many notes, not enough tune. Someone like Bob Reynolds among the modern tenors gets the balance right for me. Its subjective but I hope that helps?
@kennethreed87464 жыл бұрын
timmo491 I feel you bob Reynolds is pretty killer. I definitely feel what you’re talking about I personally just didn’t get that with chad. Like for me it feels like he takes from both the more traditional bop and the modern playing and combines them. Kinda like a bob berg style of playing.
