Forgive the stupid nature of this question given all the amazing things that are going on onstage. I noticed Chad pushes his mouthpiece way further in than I've ever seen . Like there's no cork visible. In this so he can have the loosest possible embouchure?
@zachs12304 жыл бұрын
you can still see some cork, it's just a very similar colour to the crook of his sax

@lidinzx5 жыл бұрын
Greg Folland i think it would be his lip is tired, but i am not a sax player so, dont know really
@mpettymusic5 жыл бұрын
@@lidinzx its probably because his lips are tired, he plays a ton and i wouldnt be surprised if this is one of the last songs on his set. Putting the mouthpiece to the side gives you a bit more control of how tight the embouchre is when your face is getting tired, which is needed to keep a good tone after playing for hours.
@montecardenas-metal11724 жыл бұрын
@@mpettymusic I don't think so. It's a flawed way of playing and he'd have more chops if he fixed it. Proper technique and conditioning, always
@chrizze50624 жыл бұрын
He doesn’t always play like that, but he’s a professional and been playing for most of his life so it doesn’t make a difference at this point since he’s a pro
