I once had a pug that skateboarded. His name was Switch and he was a little legend. When switch got sick, I wasn’t financially capable of the abrupt medicine and surgery he needed. I posted a gofundme, some people donated $20,$50. I had a relative donate $100. Chad donated $350 without ever meeting me or Switch. Idk how he even got the link, but his generosity and kindness shines beyond his words. That taught me to be a better pug owner, switch is long gone but my new pug, Krooks, has health issues and I save money for liver shunt surgeries, kidney stone removals and whatever is needed. I’ll never forget what you did for my fur family, Chad, I tell everyone and anyone who brings up your name. hopefully I’ll meet you soon and have the chance to thank you personally.

I was at Jkwon when he arrived. It was like a movie, just like he said everyone was quiet then after realizing what we were witnessing we all started cheering. Seeing him and Brandon was like living a childhood dream. They were my 2 favorite skaters growing up. It was an amazing moment and yeah Brandon still got it like nothing. That line was crazy

I only intended to watch maybe 10 mins of this at first, but ended up watching the full thing in one sitdown. Chad Muska is such an inspirational person. People like Chad are fascinating the way they can harness their manic energy they seem to have. I've been in a funk lately and watching this has sort of inspired me to try and get out there and get shit done that i've been putting off. Great stuff!
@MaynardOwnsАй бұрын
I hate being in funks. Hard to get out of. I always tell my self “next time I’m gonna (insert whatever I think will work)” and I never do. I just wallow in it. Sometimes gotta ask yourself why? What can I do about it? Start now. Not tomorrow. If you think going for a run every night will help. Go take a jog. And do it again the next night. Etc etc.

Rad to see Chad back on the show. His insight on the current state of the skate industry is pretty spot on. Especially for him to be out doing his own thing in Ohio and not per se being directly around the industry anymore. He sees what’s going on like everyone does. He has some very valid points. Also love hearing his ideas for projects and future shoe design. He’s doing a great job at still representing skateboarding with his own brand. Love you Chad since way back in the day. Thanks for having him back on the show. Absolute legend!!!🙌🤙

Muska is an icon. His red Shorty’s silhouette board still gives me shivers. Fulfill The Dream is a touchstone of my youth. My favorite part of my life still, it was massive. Chad is a hero to me, constant evolution. Respect the tech(nique)
@skateboston4204 ай бұрын
It's impossible to say which part in Fulfill the Dream was the best, they were all so good. I was 13 when I saw that video, Christmas 1998. Brandon Turner, Sammy Baptista, and Jessey Silvey around my age, so I was always pumped on those parts. I think Steve Olson's opening part was the sickest, though. The whole video is seamless, though. It's one of the best edited videos ever and Tony Buyalos' girlfriend April Hamrick edited on her first try ever just from being smart and reading books on the subject. I've always heard that some of the most memorable Hollywood movies were edited by a woman.

One of my greatest memories from skateboarding is going to a demo in the early 2000's and before we got there we were hanging in a parking lot up the street. Next thing we know a white Escalade pulls up, driver's window rolls down and Chad says "Yo! Where's da demo at?" All our mouths hit the ground and we managed to point him in the right direction. Just that small interaction with Chad was rad. Needless to say, he showed up to the demo and absolutely killed it. Thank you, Chad, for all you've given the world of skateboarding and beyond.

Mad Respect, I know nothing about chicken's but I own a cabinet shop and the guy behind me has chickens, please don't cite me on any of this, but he said if you put an egg in water, it either lays flat or point's up and one of them means it's fertilized, one doesn't... I'm in deep South Louisiana and I certainly hope I'm not talking out of my butt, and perhaps you already know this little trick or tip, if not you may want to research it... I think it's rad, the way you are living, I was always "punk rock" when I was younger, and I didn't respect you at all... I was super closed minded... I think you are an awesome person, and I was having the attitude that I thought worked, for me, growing up. I changed much, just as you have... I hope I helped you in a very small way, have a blessed night, if you see this.
