Watch this amazing video tribute video of Chad Reed before his last race of his Monster Energy Supercross Career at the Finals in Salt Lake City 2020. #SupercrossLIVE #ChadReed #OneLastRide
Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, is the most competitive and highest-profile off-road motorcycle racing championship on the planet. Over 17 weeks between January through May and a million-dollar All-Star Race, Supercross attracts some of the largest and most impressive crowds inside the most recognizable and prestigious stadiums in North America to race in front of nearly one million live fans and broadcast to millions more worldwide. The track takes all the exciting obstacles of outdoor riding-jumps, turns, and bumps-amplifies them, and puts them in easy view of spectators.
Founded in America and sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) in 1974, Supercross is currently co-sanctioned by the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the official global governing body for motorcycle racing, thus making it a formal World Championship.

There were days when I hated Chad Reed. I thought he was a dirty rider. But time has shown that his aggressive, take-no-shit attitude was the heart of a champion. I realize now how much I enjoyed those battles between he, Ricky, and James. It was like a drama series every week. Chad never let off and never backed down, no matter what the outcome. He has earned my respect and I can say that I have honestly rooted for him the last few years. What a great rider, a great champion, and a great career. Thank you, Chad Reed.

Absolutely man. First bike I ever had was a pw50 in 96 and by the time I started to watch supercross Yamaha was my favorite bike and guess who was on Yamaha. I grew up watching him, cheering for him, play with him in so many games and he was my absolute favorite for as long as I can remember. Yamaha is not my favorite bike anymore but something in me will always light up whenever I see a blue bike with number 22 and take me back to where weather is nice, tank is full, I have no worry in a world and the life is beautiful. #forever22

i remember back in '04 i was in vegas for the finale. i wasn't even a year old yet. the night before the race, my dad was carrying me through the corridors of the hotel we were staying at, and we just happened to bump into chad. of course, I was in some vintage, top of the line cr22 pajamas. he noticed, of course, and my dad was talking to him for a little bit, and then we were on our way. i will never forget that moment. thanks chad.

No matter who Chad raced with strong #1, bar to bar, in front, top ten, from the back to the front, Chad Was always a Super Hero Motocross racer to all us fans and his Competitors. So Proud as well with him being a family man and sharing his life with us all. Prayers to see him still around the industry and twisting a Throttle for the fun outside of his work. It may be an empty feeling at first to be able to go in the stadiums again and not see the 22 on the track. But also will not be forgotten, because you made your mark in History a lot of us only can dream of doing. Cheers to life not saddled up and enjoying what you have accomplished on and off the track and your future to come.

Nothing lasts forever , truly the last of a dying breed . This guy was tough as dirt . Still remeber as a kid watching the mudder when he burnt his clutch out in the lead . Been a fan ever since . Watching him attempt to push his bike in 4 foot of mud and not giving up until he himself was stuck .

Have to admit , I shed a tear. This guy was/is my hero . The grit , being a bridesmaid at times and never gave up and gave numerous , numerous generations of talent sleepless nights . From Ricky , to Bubba , Poto , Dungey and even a young Tomac . Hes beaten em all STRAIGHT UP , kept em ALL honest and he done it his way. I fkn HATE seeing him go , big reason is ? It closes a chapter in my life as well. Man, Smh.. Love ya Reedy , you'll always be in my thoughts when the gates drop on Saturdays.. True Reed fans will know what I mean when I say "To this day if he hadn't hucked into that section behind Poto ? We win the title that year " he was the fastest rider on the planet that season but , ... thats racing . #GOATINMYEYES

Watched Chad race for the past 20 years, what a true champion, so many kids have grown up with Chad as role model, demonstrating with determination what can be achieved, his legend will live long across the Australian motocross and mini bike clubs. Very proud to be an Australian to have such a great champion represent our country, sad to see you retire Chad, the best racing has got to be those battles with James Stewart, some of the best racing ever seen. Good luck with the future mate.

(( I wasn't always a Chad Reed fan to be honest. But he had always been fierce competitor, consistent and good for the sport. And over the years I often found myself most excited watching him win his last Supercross races. Jumping up out of the chair saying YES! ! So I guess you could say I changed to a big fan out of sheer respect for this guy and his consistency over the years. Watching him push himself to RV's speed when he crashed years ago in the whoops just showed me how much heart this man really had. Much respect to a great legend of an absolute ncredible sport!
