खूप वर्षांनी पुन्हा एकदा ही कव्वाली हिम्मत करून कुणीतरी सादर केली ह्याचे विशेष कौतुक. जरी खालच्या पट्टीत गायली असली, तरी समीर दाते साहेबांनी त्याला अतिशय योग्य न्याय दिला आहे ह्यात वाद नाही. वाईट एवढेच वाटते की सादरीकरणाच्या आधी ह्या कव्वाली चे अचूक वाचन/चिंतन व्हायला हवे होते. काही शब्द चुकीचे म्हणाल्यामुळे/उच्चरल्याने आमच्यासारखे रसिक थोडेसे हिरमुसतात. कारण ही कव्वाली शब्दप्रधान आहे, गायकीप्रधान नाही असा माझा समज आहे. जसे की 2:10 "चार दिन की ये मेंहमा तेरी जिंदगानी हैं" नसून ते "चार रोज की मेहमां तेरी जिंदगानी है" असे आहे. 2:55 "जिंदगी को जो समझा जिंदगी 'पे' रोता है, "जिंदगी 'को' रोता है" नाही. 7:27 "ला के कब्र में तुझको 'कुर्ता पाक' डालेंगे" आहे, "मुर्दा बाक डालेंगे" नाही. 7:42 "तेरे चाहने वाले 'कल तुझे' भुला देंगे" असे आहे. "तुझको ही" भुला देंगे नाही. 8:02 "कर गुनाहों 'से' तौबा 'आके बत' संभल जाए" असे आहे, 'आके बस' नव्हे. कुठल्यातरी गायकाचा/गायिकेचा गाताना सूर चुकल्यावर, किंवा विशिष्ट रागात न येणारा सूर आल्यावर संगीत शिकलेल्या कलाकारांच्या मनात जे भाव निर्माण होतात, तसेच काहीसे हे सादरीकरण ऐकताना मला झाले, एवढंच. बाकी सगळं खूपच छान. विनम्र अभिवादन.

Fantastic performance by this TRI. This Aziz Naza original ( I have seen him LIVE many times in S. Gujarat at various programs ) has been sung by Zahid Naza and others, but none has been able to maintain a proper LAI/tempo. But after a long time, I find this tri nail this in a unique way. And when Padmashree AJ is the master, what can not be achieved?
