Chadron Nebraska

You ever have one of those moments where you just pick a spot on the map? Well... I did, and somehow I picked Chadron, Nebraska. I thought it would be fun to stay the night in Nebraska since I've never been, and also to run a muck in a small town in the heartland of America. See what's out there. I absolutely love this little town and the people. Super friendly and polite. They have a really great historical museum and cute downtown. Great state parks and national parks nearby. Go visit Chadron Nebraska, or come with me next time I go Cold War hunting.

East coast guy here. I was visiting friends in Minnesota in September of 2022. I rented a car to do a road trip to Denver. Stayed overnight in Chadron along the way. I found a pub in town called The Ridge. Cool place and I enjoyed my brief stay!

Was there in 1982 on my new Honda 500 MC. Had a flat as I hit the city limits sign. A local tire shop repaired it for ten dollars. Nice state park close. Make sure you stay a day or two at Valentine, NE. Great little park, with wood, showers, water, was free in 1982.

We are right in tornado alley but chadron sits in a valley so most of the bad weather goes around us. I have lived here for 28 year's and have only been in 2 tornadoes
