This is all fantastic advice. Love the one about raising the table up! Would have never thought of that!

Thanks! It's a game changer for sure. We had to get custom tablecloths that are longer, but it was worth it 100%

These are great tips, Chad? Can you give a range of how many pens you'd typically take to the craft fair and how many would you have on display at your booth? I've done a couple of craft fairs in the past, but I'm trying to decide if I want to go this route or sell through Etsy.

Thanks. Your question really depends on the size of the show. If its a big multi day show we might take 500-700 pens and have 60-75 displayed on on the two tables at all times. If it is just a small show, for example we used to regularly do a few that were only 4-6 hours long for one day, we would take a few hundred and only have one table up. One nice thing about this is that it is easier to keep track of what has sold and if anything is stolen because as soon as something sells you fill that empty spot from the stock under the table to keep your display looking nice. And generally we only have a few (maybe 4 or 6) on the $25 dollar display and just replace empty spots as they sell. We have also found that in-person sales drive Etsy sales. Hope that helps!
