Chad and his family are such fun to watch. They never get excited or bent out of shape over things. They all sit down and talk through the issue at hand and normally within a few minutes have a solution to fix the problem. Chad thank you and your family for sharing what Y'all do for us all to enjoy. Can't wait to see both of these trucks done an ripping up the road ! Blessings to Y'all and be Safe ! ✌️❤️🙏

Chad and guys, the steering arm bolt won't touch the other arm because you didn't turn the hubs and when the hubs turn the arm moves closer to the axle so you should have a bit more wiggle room 😉

When you turn your steering all the way in either direction the tie rod will move with it. Due to the knuckles turning, the tie rod will move closer to the dif cover. It will never be where it is now, once it is hooked up, unless your steering is straight ahead.

Just FYI, you may not need the engine crossmember because the front crossmember should more than make up for it. Most people stick one in because the factory did it, but they had different design criteria than you do and a different suspension design mounted at different points. You may want to tie the upper shock mounts together over the top of the engine though, because there will be a lot of flex there, that one change will build in a lot of strength.
@chadsfab
@chadsfab Жыл бұрын
I plan on tying the shock mounts together or to the front cage structure, whichever is strong. Wanted the lower crossmember to strengthen the frame.
