So I'm 8 months late but I've rediscovered Frankie's ads so I did some digging, unfortunately he passed away in July 2013 so he didn't live to see these ads become memes :( Lady Jock is a sister of his and they worked together on a radio show, although he apparently has two sisters and I'm not sure whether Lady Jock is Elizabeth or Gloria, neither come up with anything. Honestly made me sad to learn but yeah.

Mariachi bands playing right next to the table is pretty normal in Mexico and authentic Mexican restaurants. To be honest it's a great experience lol. The band kind of has to play close so they can receive cash tips as they play.

I once went to a Mexican restaurant in Kentucky that had a sub standard Elvis impersonator instead. Dude actually got ready right in the dining room and probably had about 3 inches of pancake makeup on his face. He did draw a crowd though, I saw this one lady watching him like he was really Elvis. Kentucky is a weird place.

Graphic Design major in me coming out; the font you mentioned gets used in a lot of low-budget commercials looks like it's probably Hobo--it's a default font on a lot of computers and it looks a bit more interesting than a lot of the other sans serif choices, so it's used in a lot. That and Impact are the ones I see the most in ads (pretty sure the Mr. Money ad used Impact in the logo)
