Actually what happened was. Rama asks hanuman are you my devotee or ,or you my survent. Hanuman replies him saying that if I am your survent I should serve you,if I am a devotee there is no difference you and me. Rama get so much happiness after hearing this he hugs him.

One add on: In India God's are considered as tools for praising characteristics needed for a better human. Hanuman is the God who portrays loyalty, Strength, Courage, compassion. So when you pray to Hanuman, you are trying to gain those characteristics for yourself. Well that's how it works!! So When you pray to Hanuman for your problems, that doesn't mean Hanuman will show up to sort your issues, but when you inculcate characteristics of Hanuman, you develop courage & strength to sort your problems. According to Valmiki Ramayan, Bhagwan Ram(7th incarnation of Vishnu) asked him to stay on Earth until he returns in the form/avatar of Kalki in Kaliyug( Kaliyuga is the fourth yug of all 4 yug) this is why While we sing Hanuman chalisa there's this chaupai 'Charon yuga partap tumhara' which means 'All through the four ages your magnificent glory is acclaimed far'. Hanuman is the god of power, force. You feel the force while thinking about him. All the gods have their own characteristics and all of them are different avatars of lord Shiva. Shiva is the infinite of infinity like universe. Hanuman Ji characterises power which we need to live.

I think there's a deeper source of his powers and that was his devotion to Ram. Devotion drove Hanuman and powers were mere consequence of that pure devotion. Never in his life he used his powers to do anything for himself. It was all about others. So he is even today. He will give you what you want weather materialistic things or power or pure devotion. You see, no prayer of Hanuman is complete without mentioning Sita-Ram. He is pleased when you chant Sita-Ram along with Hanuman. That's how selfless he is. An epitome of pure devotion. 🙏

Hello, Its so good to see you know so much about of Hanumanji.Yes you correctly told that Hanumanji removes darkness from our life and you need to surrender to him.He give us courage and confidence. It's true that reciting the Hanuman Chalisa without understanding its meaning and without trying to inculcate its teachings into our behavior may not fully honor its significance. Some of the qualities such as "Eknishta bhakti" (unwavering devotion), "आतुर" (eager and enthusiastic), "Mahavir" (mighty and courageous), and "Parakrami" (brave and valorous), are all admirable attributes that we can aspire to cultivate within ourselves. Hanumanji's devotion to Lord Rama, his selflessness, courage, and unwavering commitment to his duties serve as powerful examples for all of us . His actions, as depicted in the Ramayana, emphasize the importance of loyalty, humility, and service to others. The instances of Hanumanji bringing the Sanjeevani herb without any hesitation or concern about the challenges involved, as well as his fearless leap across the ocean to deliver Sri Ram's ring, demonstrate his dedication, focus, and willingness to go to great lengths to fulfill his Guru’s tasks. Hanumanji is Tattpar and आतुर in doing his “गुरु कार्य”. In Similar manner we should be Quick and आतुर for doing “गुरु कार्य”or fulfilling the responsibilities. It reminds us that true devotion lies in surrendering to your bosses or “Guru”. Leaving your bosses for selfish needs is not understanding Hanumanji. This means not only reciting the verses but also understanding its meanings and applying them in our thoughts, words, and actions. We should imbibe those qualities in us. Hanuman epitomizes the fusion of "strength, heroic initiative, and assertive excellence" with "loving, emotional devotion" to his lord Rama, embodying both Shakti and Bhakti." Even then, there is no need to worship him as he is not a Creator nor is he a God.

@@aaryatodoroki A Godly person cannot be God. How did Hanuman become Lord, who made him Lord? Hanuman is dead and buried, there are no benefits in worshipping him. Hanuman is half man and half monkey is a myth.
