As a Cambodian, I wanted three things to be improved. 1. Education system 2. Health Care System 3. Court system

Thyda has never been to EU nor US, so she thinks the people in these countries living in paradis, it is just a false good impression. I confirm to live there now is completely difficult because of inflation on all thing. But send the children to have education on health, science, business ,,,ect. is a good idea and come back to develop Cambodia is really good. US, EU has a big problem of security and Cambodia is anyway safer than these countries.

you can buy for around 10$ per sqm not far from the beach (maybe 15min) but you need to have patience to find that good deal. Many people selling now very cheap. But some ask way too much for sure. Of course you can buy also for less than 5k a ricefield plot of maybe 2000 sqm but it will be in the countryside and not connected to any road. Of course a land which is directly at a concrete road will be way more pricy even its in a rural area. Starting around 25$ probably to 500$ (per sqm!) if its near tourist spots like Siem Reap...

It’s very interesting to see the two guests talk about living in America and outside of it. Seeing the woman say she wanted to move to America was sad for me, because I am a poor person living here and I have no real opportunity because of my family’s generational poverty. I have made something of myself with what I had at a young age and even now, it is not enough for the things I value. For some, the things America offers are more valuable than their home. I wish her the best in her goals.

He wanted to visit siem reap as he heard there were a few amazing temples there, but he wasn't allowed to go by normal means. He had to take a plane because any other way like a boat would end up with him being attacked by rogues. Basically sounds like myanmar tbh

@@Chai_Travel It was was just an eyeball estimate based on comparative data. If a family in California can live on $3000/month, I’d imagine $3000/month could get a lot more in a country whose GDP/capita is $1,800 USD. Cambodia being a lessor economy than Vietnam, Thailand, why is it more expensive in Cambodia? (Genuine question) could it be the unfettered use of the US dollar or the rampant corruption that raises the cost of doing business in Cambodia?
