I've done something similar. It is fun to do. The finished look was really wonderful in this tutorial. I'm not sure I would have thought to combine the chain in an updo.

Great video as always 💚💙💗💜♥️💛 I do have one more question what's the difference between a bobby pins and hairpins I used to think they we're the same but there shape looks completely different in your videos or it might be just me it's hard for me to see on my phone sometimes because it is not the best quality but bobby pin is a type you have to open and the hair pin almost looks hook ish if that makes sense like it's already rounded I hope that doesn't sound like a dumb question but I'm really curious in this thank you for your videos 💛💜💖💙 💚

Hi Kelly, The bobby pin has the little "toe" that kicks up at the end and is meant for holding small amounts of hair very securely (we call them "grips" too). A Hair Pin has more of a U shape and is meant for securing larger amounts of hair.
