Already working on 1 of the billets. Its coming out very cool. Ideas for the second billet are much appreciated.

If you want the chain straight, go with canoe canisters, then you have all the control, instead of gravity fighting you.

Next time, do a Canoe style canister, so you can lay the chain in horizontal, and build you can that way

if you had attached the chain to the side it would of worked alot better. the billet was too tall to keep it straight. at least thats my opinion, from a 26 years of experience in smithing

When i try again i will get a wider core steel and stack 2 or 3 wide instead of 1 wide and extremely tall. Probably weld some sacraficial steel on the sides to help keep it straight while i get the weld set strong enough
