Pawn Stars showed a Transformers set from the late 1980's that featured a 1986 Cabover Truck! Never knew what a cabover was until you introduced me to Orwell!

FSC another great video. Liked when you showed what roads you were going to take. Like all the different camera angles showing you a different view , like the one where the camera was mounted near the bullet marker light. That was different. Missed the FSC music you sometimes play and definitely missed ole Polka Time, but knows the more I mention it the longer I’ll have to wait. Such is life. Well FSC thanks for another first class video, have yourself a great and a safe day happy tails and happy motoring..

Every once in a while we slip up, it keeps us humble. Thanks for the ride along, always enjoy the different camera angles that you take. Merry Christmas my friend, Blessings in the New Year

The back of the white truck had Greek letters probably for a fraternity.
@pyrioncelendil2 жыл бұрын
The first character is a roman numeral, the second could be construed as Greek or Roman, and the third character doesn't appear in either the Greek or Roman alphabets, but would work in Old Italic if it were circular and rotated 45 degrees. More than likely it is as Steve interpreted it.

Loved how as my late pop would say you found the extra gear in Orwell and a few extra horse's under the hood when the conventional Pete had pulled along side you my pop drove a 21 . Ft 5 speed with a 2 speed rear end 76 international stake truck with the gas predaser to the dt 446 deasel for Wilkinson and compass a steel and hardware co located in Hamilton Ontario Canada I had the opportunity and forchine to travel from one end of Ontario Canada to the outher as a child his primary run was most of southern Ontario Canada with in a 200 mile radius in and around Hamilton however with the vaereus satilite warehouses located all around Ontario and being able to spend time with the outher drivers within the one fleetstar tractor and 14 truck fleet and one 22ft box truck which was one of two sister trucks to my dad's with the same year engine and series 1800 and year I saw and experienced so many things and parts of Ontario that today is only seen online. Or books by this generation the thing I reameber the most about my pops truck is that it was governed and had vacuum restrictions on the carb then one day when he was frustrated with the Govenrer and as he so fondly refers to gutless power having had the truck for about 6 weeks and one of the customers that he delivered to twice a week had a dump truck Identical to his truck as pop had been delivering to them and on his run for 4 yrs by then and was having a coffee with a mechanic with the company I'm mentioned above about explaing his frustrating experience with his truck and as the conversation turned to the old well you know Reg my pop and my name sake we had a similar problems with are dump truck and I need a favor and I have the know how to fix your problem with your truck and that's were the old you scratch my back wink wink problem let's just say your honour all I know is for as long as my pop worked with the company and upuntil they sold the hardware side of the company they still remain in business just under a different name focusing on steel distributors every once and awhile wink wink things would turn up on the mechanics bench and the odd extra bit of steel would find its way there but as I said your honour that's all I know and I can afirm the little adjustment to the vacuum system and govener tweak at the slite of my hand went to the cteamatorm with pops and the secret will go with me anyway back to my point I have many a memory were as I said and I quite pop when he had a gear in reserve along with the extra horse's tucked under the hood there was more than one fellow trucker on the highway along with drivers who found him and me smiling and wavering in the mior as we passed them buy inperticuler two of those memory come to light the first being as we were comeing back from the Brantford Woodstock London portion of his run one summer afternoon and this had been about a month after the adjustments were made to his truck pop and a tractor trailer were let's just say well above the posted speed limit as they had been playing ca and mouse along the highway for about 25 miles pop desided that it was time to open up the engine and with room to spare he took a 3/4 mile lead on his buddy bin the tractor and would let him close to about 75 feet and again open the distinence to about 3/4 a mile unknown to pop and his buddy for the better part of 15 miles a opp are version of state police had been behind the tractor he finally got close anough to the tractor and pulled him over then got close to pop and with his flashing lights pulled him over and then in frustrated more with him self he gave them identical tic for being over the speed limit 25 miles a hour he also made pop open the hood to show him the engine as he was inconvenienced that the engine was what it said it was on the I'd plate and paperwork as we got back to the yard and per company policy if a driver got a ticket they were required to turn it in with there paperwork and to the drivers boss it being the first time for pops new truck to get a ticket and noted by the officer on the ticket the truck was sent to harvester to have the mechanics go over it to explain why a govinerd and vacuum restrictions on the system had issues pop and his buddy had gave to pop the Govenrer and vacuum hose system that came with the truck and once again your honour of asked that's all I know I'm not saying we're or when all I know is before pop got to the yard between the ticket he stopped and made sure everything was as it should be under the hood and this beeing the first of many times his truck found its way in for service and to the frustration to harvester and there mechanics and up until his truck was removed from service with the company 2 yrs after he got the first of the dt 466 desil version of the company trucks and the resulting of a new driver who blew up the engine in his truck as he was senior driver he was always the first to get a new truck and to break in the outher replacement trucks that were given to outher drivers until he left the company as I said more then one mechanic fleet sales manager and harvester. Was left bewildered and frustrated with being unable to explain power of the engine with his truck as I said this is one of two. Memers I have that come to mind after watching you and Orwell find the extra gear and horse when that Pete pulled up along side of you thanks f the memories of my childhood I apologize for the length and look forward to your next post so I can tell you what happened when pop went on holidays and his buddy drovve his truck I still laph about it today

Why do all cab overs have a fan up in the windshield? Did cab overs not have heat and ac? I see the vents and I’ve noticed for a while you says you have no ac is it not possible to fix it so you can be a little more comfortable? I would think being a cab over and the engine right under you I’m sure those things get hot inside I would deff need some ac. I know you had the apu installed recently is it cheaper to run the apu than it is fixing and running the ac and heat? I like your videos I keep trying to get my dad to make KZbin videos he drives a truck on the east coast for my cousin he’s got a 2021 389 just got out of a kw900 that he put a mill miles on in 5 years
