@taylorholmstrom2487 жыл бұрын
That's the sad thing: this movie didn't have to be bad. The idea of a killer who uses chain letters to hunt down their victims isn't bad (though admittedly dated even in 2010), and the chain-based deaths were an interesting concept, rather Jigsaw-like honestly. But the fact that the killers hate technology when they're using technology to kill people for not using technology, especially when CHAIN LETTERS COULD EASILY BE SENT IN THE MAIL, makes the movie a confusing mess. Hell, even the technology-hating cult that targets teenagers was an interesting idea. That's three good ideas, none of which actually amounted to anything.

5:14 I swear the sound used for the you've received chain mail reminds me of the sound playing during the morphing sequence from Uchu Sentai Kyuranger.

the black detective guy...is that the same guy who does the voice for captain anderson from Mass Effect? really sounds like him.

Surprisingly, when you design your whole movie entirely around some goofy in-joke (forward this mail or you die lol), it tends to have zero substance... Weird, right?

This movie apparently wanted to be a bad cross between "Saw" and the "Ring".

The ironic thing is that Phelous referenced saw. Then the woman that played Jigsaw's wife is A detective in this movie.

So, what'd happen if you just forwarded this mail to all the addresses of the spam mail you get? Would the whole spammer network get killed by chains, meaning the killer has to travel to (likely) India and find them? :D
